Multiple-stator induction synchronous motor

An abrasive type vertical grain milling machine in which each of spacers comprises a boss portion fitted on a main shaft and a plurality of arm portions extending from the boss portion in the radially outwardly and serving to induce bran removing air into a grain milling chamber through spaces between the circumferentially adjacent arm portions, is capable of discharging bran produced in the grain milling chamber with high bran discharging power and has little possibility that the bran removing power is reduced during operation.

Spacer for abrasive roll of abrasive type grain milling machine

A vertical type grain-milling machine has a perforated bran removing cylinder arranged vertically with respect to a machine frame; a main shaft which is rotatably provided within the perforated bran removing cylinder; and a milling roll and a screw roll which are in abutment with each other and which are mounted on the main shaft, the milling roll being associated with a grain discharging section and the screw roll being associated with a grain supplying section. The perforated bran removing cylinder is surrounded by an air in-take frame which has a large number of through-holes for causing in-flowing air to have a downward component of orientation. The discharging of the bran externally of the machine is enhanced and the adherence of bran onto the inner wall of the air in-take frame and the perforated bran removing cylinder is prevented.

Vertical type grain-milling machine

An induction synchronous motor includes a unitary rotor having first and second pole type rotor cores, first and second stators, a voltage phase shifting means, and DC magnetic excitation circuits. Both of the rotor cores are mounted on a common rotor axis with a predetermined space between them. The first and second rotor windings are wound on the first and second rotor cores, respectively. A plurality of diodes is each connected in parallel between series-connection nodes of the first and second rotor windings. A plurality of rotor conductors is provided on the peripheries of and extend through the first and second rotor cores. A pair of short-circuit rings short-circuits both ends of the plurality of rotor conductors. The first and second stators surround the first and second salient pole type rotor cores, respectively, and have the same number of poles as the first and second rotor cores. The voltage phase shifting means selectively produces a phase difference of 0.degree. for starting and accelerating operations and 180.degree. for synchronous operation. The DC magnetic excitation circuits face the first and second salient pole type rotor cores, and have a different number of poles from the first and second stators.

Brushless induction synchronous motor with two stators

A synchronous motor includes a unitary rotor, a first stator, a second stator and phase-changing switches. The unitary rotor has a first rotor portion formed by a first permanent magnet and a second rotor portion formed by a second permanent magnet and an induction type rotor and these first and second rotor portions are mounted on a common rotary axle with a predetermined space provided therebetween. The first stator faces the first rotor portion for producing a first rotating magnetic field. The second stator faces the second rotor portion for producing a second rotating magnetic field and is disposed such that, at the starting operation, the attracting action or the repelling action produced between the first rotating magnetic field and the first permanent magnet is canceled by the repelling action or the attracting action produced between the second rotating magnetic field and the permanent magnetic field. The phase-changing switches are associated with either one of the first stator or the second stator and set a phase difference of 0 degree or 180 degrees between the first rotating magnetic field and the second rotating magnetic field. Due to the cancellation action, any starting interference which may otherwise be caused by the permanent magnets is made negligible.

Synchronous motor with two permanent magnet rotor portions

A flour milling method and system therefor comprising the steps of separating foreign materials from raw wheat, humidifying the raw wheat, polishing the raw wheat, and conditioning the polished wheat, further comprises a step of cleaning the polished wheat at a subsequent step of the polishing the raw wheat. The flour milling method and system therefor may further comprises a step of stirring the cleaned polished wheat at a subsequent step of the cleaning step of the polished wheat. The bran powder which has been entered into the creases of the polished wheat at the polishing step, absorbs cleaning water and then flows out from the creases with the cleaning water. Since the bran powders in the creases of the polished wheat can be removed effectively, the milling efficiency is improved.

Method of and system for flour milling

An induction synchronous motor with two rotor cores and two stator cores includes a rotor having two mutually connected first rotor windings (31,31) of a predetermined number of poles and two mutually connected second rotor windings (33,34) connected of a different number of poles with respect to the number of poles of the first rotor windings; and two stators having two stator windings (21,22) of the number of poles identical with the number of poles of the first rotor windings (31,32) and two excitation windings (41,42) of the number of poles identical with the number of poles of the second rotor windings (33,34). The motor further includes a rectifier circuit (35) for rectifying outputs from the second rotor windings (33,34) and supplying the rectified voltages to the first rotor windings (31,32) at a synchronous operation. A phase shifter (SW1) associated with the first stator windings (21,22) produces a phase difference of 180.degree. between a rotating magnetic field around one of the rotor cores and that around the other one of the rotor cores. The motor starts based on a theory of an ordinary induction motor under a phase difference of 0.degree. and can operate as a synchronous motor after the rotating speed has reached its synchronous speed under the phase difference of 180.degree. produced by the phase shifter.

Dual-stator induction synchronous motor

An apparatus for evaluating the grade of rice grains includes a grain supply unit, vibrating troughs on which the rice grains run in their longitudinal posture, flow-down troughs having slits each opening to each of the flow-down troughs, a reflected light measuring unit having its light sources and its detecting element for detecting the amount of the light reflected from said rice grains, a transmitted light measuring unit having its light sources and its detecting element for detecting the amount of the light transmitted through the rice grains at the positions of said slits, and a calculation control unit for digitally calculating the values measured at the reflected light measuring unit and the transmitted light measuring unit for evaluating the rice grains into a plurality of grades. The light sources for reflection may be of visible light and the light source for transmission may be of infrared light. Also, it is possible to use a single unit, namely, a reflected and transmitted light measuring unit, having a reflected light detecting element and a transmitted light detecting element for measuring both the reflected light amount and the transmitted light amount from the rice grains at the same positions of the slits.

Apparatus for evaluating the grade of rice grains

A wheat flouring system comprises a polishing machine for polishing wheat grains, a humidifying machine for humidifying the grains, a conditioning machine for subjecting the grains to conditioning and a milling machine for milling the grains to produce a flour. The polishing machine, the humidifying machine, the conditioning machine and the milling machine are successively arranged from an upstream side to a downstream side as viewed in a direction of flow of the wheat grains. There is provided an agitating machine for agitating the grains humidified by the humidifying machine, thereby preventing the humidified grains from sticking together into lumps of the grains.

Process of and system for flouring wheat

A two-stator induction synchronous motor includes a unitary rotor having a first rotor assembly and a second rotor assembly each of which is formed by a permanent magnet and a rotor core. The first rotor assembly and the second rotor assembly respectively have a first pair of and a second pair of magnetic poles of the permanent magnets disposed in such a relative relation that the former and the latter are displaced by 180.degree. or 0.degree. with each other. The motor also includes a phase shifting means which produces a phase difference of 0.degree. or 180.degree. between a voltage induced in rotor conductive members by a rotating magnetic field generated around the first rotor assembly and a voltage induced in rotor conductive members by a rotating magnetic field generated around the second rotor assembly. The two permanent magnets are disposed in such a relation that the attracting or repelling action of one permanent magnet and the repelling or attracting action of the other permanent magnet cancel each other, so that the starting operation is not interfered with. The starting operation is the same as in an induction motor and the running operation is as in a synchronous motor.

Two-stator induction synchronous motor

Also, it is possible to use a single unit, namely, a reflected and transmitted light measuring unit, having a reflected light detecting element and a transmitted light detecting element for measuring both the reflected light amount and the transmitted light amount from the rice grains at the same positions of the slits.

A washed rice producing apparatus includes a frame; a first tubular member, arranged within the frame, for defining a rice-washing chamber therein for washing polished rice introduced therein from one end thereof, the rice-washing chamber having a discharge end portion; an agitating member, arranged in the first tubular member, for agitating the polished rice in the rice-washing chamber; a spiral member supported on the frame to be rotatable about an axis thereof for transporting washed, polished rice discharged from the discharge end portion of the rice-washing chamber while dewatering the washed polished rice; and a second tubular member provided in the frame to be rotatable about the axis and to externally surround the spiral member for defining a dewatering chamber in cooperation with the spiral member, the second tubular member including a circumferential wall having many penetrating holes formed therethrough for draining off water separated from the washed polished rice transported by the spiral member. The washed rice producing apparatus is capable of reducing the installation space thereof.

Apparatus for producing washed rice

A grain grinding system includes a polishing machine for polishing grains, and roll mills and sifters for repeatedly mill and sift the polished grains to provide a flour having a desired mesh size. A moisture adding device is provided for adding moisture to the grains milled in at least one of the roll mills, thereby maintaining the grains in a suitably moistened condition during the milling operation.

Process of grinding grains

A method of producing an abrasive roll comprises the steps of forming a mixture of substances such as abrasive grains, a bond, a temporary caking agent and a pore forming agent, molding the mixture into a body having a predetermined shape, and drying and then burning the body. The pore forming agent is constituted from a rice hull powder sieved to have a predetermined particle size, thereby enabling to produce an abrasive roll of high porosity which has pores having substantially ball-like shape and substantially uniform size and includes a bond having portions of high SiO.sub.2 concentration each adjacent to and surrounding one of the pores.

Abrasive roll and method of producing the same

A green coffee bean polishing apparatus for removing silver skin from green coffee beans having the silver skins remaining after removal of parchment, comprises: a tubular member communicated at one end portion thereof with a supply port for green coffee beans to be polished and at the other end portion thereof with a discharge port for the polished green coffee beans, the tubular member defining a polishing chamber therein and having a large number of through holes formed in a wall surface thereof; a polishing roll rotatably disposed in the polishing chamber for serving to polish the green coffee beans in the polishing chamber so as to separate the silver skin from the outer surface of each green coffee bean; and an air passing means for passing air from the polishing chamber to the outside of the tubular member so as to discharge the silver skin separated from the green coffee beans through the through holes in the tubular member. Accordingly, the silver skin can be ensured to be removed from the individual green coffee beans.
