This display system which is provided in a vehicle comprises: a road surface drawing device that is configured so as to emit a light pattern (L) toward a road surface outside the vehicle; an HUD that is located inside the vehicle and configured so as to display HUD information to an occupant of the vehicle such that the HUD information is overlaid on real space outside the vehicle; and a display control unit that is configured so as to control the road surface drawing device. The display control unit is configured so as to control the emission of the light pattern (L) in accordance with an input operation by the occupant in an HUD display area (D) where the HUD information can be displayed.

A vehicle lighting system is provided in a vehicle capable of traveling in an automated driving mode. The vehicle lighting system includes a headlamp mounted on a front of the vehicle, an automated driving system (ADS) lamp configured to emit light toward an outside of the vehicle to visually present information relating to automated driving of the vehicle, and a lighting control unit configured to control visual modes of the headlamp and the ADS lamp. The lighting control unit is configured to change the visual mode of the headlamp such that visibility of the ADS lamp from the outside of the vehicle is improved according to at least turning-on of the ADS lamp.

Automated vehicle and a vehicle lighting system thereof

A lighting circuit is configured to turn on or off a semiconductor light source in accordance with a turning-on/off instruction signal. The lighting circuit includes a pulse input determining circuit and a drive circuit. The pulse input determining circuit receives the turning-on/off instruction signal which is in pulse form in commanding turning-on and which is at a constant level in commanding turning-off. The pulse input determining circuit determines whether or not the turning-on/off instruction signal is in a turn-on state in which the turning-on/off instruction signal is in pulse form. The pulse input determining circuit generates a determination signal which is asserted if the turning-on/off instruction signal is in pulse form. The drive circuit supplies the semiconductor light source with a drive current if the determination signal is asserted. The drive circuit does not supply the semiconductor light source with the drive current if the determination signal is negated.

There is provided a lighting control system of a vehicle lamp. The system includes: a plurality of lamps including: a main lamp; and a separate lamp which is separated from the main lamp; and a lighting controller configured to control lighting of the plurality of lamps. The main lamp includes: a first lamp lighting circuit configured to perform a lighting operation of the main lamp; and a control circuit configured to output a lighting signal based on a lighting control signal output from the lighting controller. The separate lamp includes: a second lamp lighting circuit configured to perform a lighting operation of the separate lamp. The first lamp lighting circuit and the second lamp lighting circuit are configured to perform the lighting operations based on the lighting signal output from the control circuit.

A light irradiation control system for a vehicle lamp includes a control unit configured to provide control signals for controlling light irradiation of the vehicle lamp based on detection signals detected by sensors. Actuator units are configured to control the light irradiation of the vehicle lamp based on the control signals. The control unit includes a body-side control unit and a lamp-side control unit. The body-side control unit is configured to perform signal processing on the detection signals and to provide the signal-processed signals to a common bus as common data. The lamp-side control unit, which is mounted in at least some of the actuator units, is connected to the common bus to provide the control signals based on the common data provided to the common bus.

Light irradiation control system for vehicle lamp

A position measuring laser apparatus includes first and second laser transmitter-receivers and a position measure. The laser transmitter-receiver includes a laser beam emitter for emitting a laser beam, and a laser beam receiver for receiving a laser beam resulting from the emitted laser beam reflected from a reference reflecting mirror. An optical axis of the laser transmitter-receiver is oriented at a required angle toward a moving body. The position of the moving body with respect to the reference reflecting mirror is measured based on a beam receiving signal of the laser beam obtained by the laser transmitter-receiver. The position measure compares a drive signal for driving the laser beam emitter with a beam receiving signal generated by the laser beam receiver to measure the position of the moving body based on the beam receiving signal when the drive signal and the beam receiving signal coincide with each other.
