A medical device including a connector portion having a distal end and a proximal end, and a screw groove configured for fluid communication between the connector portion and another medical device. The screw groove has a first side wall provided close to the distal end and a second side wall provided close to the proximal end. The first side wall has a stop portion whose lead angle has been reduced or eliminated.

Medical device

A medical connector includes: a first connection section that defines a first passage; a second connection section that defines a second passage communicating with the first passage; and a rotation control section that controls relative rotation of the first and second connection sections. The second connection section includes a first wall face configured to abut on the first connection section to restrict the first connection section from moving in a direction to be separated from the second connection section. In a state in which the first wall face abuts on the first connection section, the rotation control section allows the second connection section to rotate relative to the first connection section in a first circumferential direction about the axis and restricts the second connection section from rotating relative to the first connection section in a second circumferential direction opposite to the first circumferential direction.

Medical connector

A connector includes an elastic valve body that includes a top face on which a slit is formed and a bottom face opposite the top face; and a holding section that is in contact with the top face and the bottom face of the elastic valve body and holds the elastic valve body. The holding section surrounds the slit, and the elastic valve body includes a peripheral section that is positioned outward of a portion of the elastic valve body that is held by the holding section. The elastic valve body and the holding section are configured such that a volume of the peripheral section in a state in which the elastic valve body is held by the holding section is larger than a volume of the peripheral section in a state in which the elastic valve body is not held by the holding section.

Connector and infusion set

A medical device includes a connector portion. The connector portion includes an inner cylinder connectable to another medical device having an elastic valve, a valve body against which the elastic valve is pressed from a distal end side due to connection of the inner cylinder and another medical device, and an outer cylinder disposed radially outside the inner cylinder, and the connector portion is configured to provide fluid communication between the connector portion and another medical device by moving the inner cylinder in an axial direction with respect to the outer cylinder in a state where the inner cylinder is connected with another medical device. The connector portion further includes an anchor that suppresses movement of the valve body with respect to the inner cylinder toward a proximal end.

A male connector is connectable to a female connector and includes: a flow path tubular member that has an opening at an end portion; a valve body that closes the opening; a housing main body; and a moving body that moves with respect to the housing main body and deforms the valve body so as to change a mode between a first mode in which the opening is closed by the valve body and a second mode in which the opening is open from the valve body. The moving body includes a locking portion that locks the female connector in a state in which the valve body and an elastic valve body of the female connector abut on each other.

Male connector, medical device, and connection method

A medical device includes: a first member including: a body portion, and an anchor, wherein a resin material of the anchor is different from a resin material of the body portion, and wherein the anchor is interlinked to the body portion; and a second member including a connecting portion that is connected to the anchor, wherein a resin material of the second member is the same as the resin material of the anchor.
