A sample collection implement Sincludes a containerhaving an accommodation portionin which a liquidfor suspending or diluting a sample is accommodated, a sample collection stickbeing able to be disposed in the accommodation portion, a filterprovided inside the container, and a movable memberthat can be moved in a predetermined direction inside the containerand has a function of pushing the liquidand causing the liquid to pass through the filter, when moved in the predetermined direction. With such a configuration, when the liquidis filtered, it is not necessary to move the filterby directly pushing it and a filter with a low mechanical strength can be used as the filter. In addition, it is not necessary to use a centrifugal apparatus.

Sample collection implement

This invention relates to technology for analyzing a specific component in a sample liquid, and provides an analyzing tool and an analyzing apparatus. Analyzing tool (Y) includes a liquid inlet () at a central portion of the tool and a plurality of channels () which communicate with liquid inlet () and move the sample liquid introduced through liquid inlet () by capillary action from the central portion towards a peripheral portion of the tool. Each channel () extends linearly for example from the central portion towards the peripheral portion, and the plurality of channels () are arranged radially.

Analyzing tool and device

A measurement support system includes a measurement device and a management device connected to the measurement device via a communications network. When the measurement device uses consumable materials such as reagents, the management device manages the stock of consumable materials, supplies the consumable materials, and corrects measured data in accordance with the state of the consumable materials. Thus, the measurement support system can reduce the burden on users of the measurement device. The reagents that are used in measurement by a personal measuring instrument () located at each of patients' homes (B, C, . . . ) are assigned a reagent ID number beforehand. This reagent ID number and measured data are transmitted to a host computer () of a medical institution (A). The host computer () determines the stock of reagents based on the consumable material identifier received from the personal measuring instrument () and ships the reagents to the patient's home when the stock is running low. The host computer () also corrects the measured data in view of a calibration curve and degradation based on the production lot information of the reagents stored in correspondence with the reagent ID number.

Measurement support system and measurement support method

A measurement support system includes a management device connected to a measurement device via a communications network. When the measurement device uses consumable materials such as reagents, the management device manages the stock of consumable materials, supplies the consumable materials, and corrects measured data in accordance with the state of the consumable materials. The reagents that are used are assigned a reagent ID number beforehand. This reagent ID number and measured data are transmitted to a host computer of a medical institution that determines the stock of reagents based on the consumable material identifier received from the personal measuring instrument and ships the reagents to the patient's home when the stock is running low. The host computer also corrects the measured data in view of a calibration curve and degradation based on the production lot information of the reagents stored in correspondence with the reagent ID number.

A measuring device () has, e.g., a voice input portion () for a measurer to input an arbitrary comment at a time of measurement, and it allows a voice recognition portion () to recognize the measurer's comment inputted by the voice input portion () and also allows a recognition result to be stored in a comment storing portion () in correlation with information on date and time, thereby storing conditions or the like of the measurer at the time of measurement, together with the measurement data.

Measuring device with comment input function

A monitoring system for monitoring the state of a monitoring object apparatus so as to detect a foretoken of failure. A host computer () of a manufacturer/dealer of a clinical check apparatus () receives state data of respective parts from parts sensors () of the clinical check apparatus () of a user and the received state data is compared to a prediction condition stored in a condition storage block () in a state monitoring block (), thereby detecting a foretoken of failure. The prediction condition includes a condition created in accordance with service life of each of the parts and a condition created upon occurrence of a failure in accordance with transition of the state data prior to the occurrence of the failure.

Monitoring apparatus and monitoring object apparatus

It is an object of the present invention to provide a remote data management system with which, by keeping the transmission of measured data from measurers from being concentrated at particular times, the measured data can be gathered efficiently and the party managing the data can suffice with a minimal equipment investment. In patient households (B, C . . . ), a personal measuring device () is connected to a communications device () via a cable or the like, and data that are measured by the personal measuring device () are transferred to the communications device () and stored. A server () of a medical institution (A) sends a data transmission request to the communications device () in each patient's household via a public communications networkdaily, biweekly, or monthly, for example. When the communications device () receives the data transmission request it transmits the stored measured data to the server ().
