An electrostatic atomizing apparatus includes: a liquid nozzle portion for releasing a liquid column into an open space; a liquid conduit portion for introducing pressurized liquid into the liquid nozzle portion; a liquid-side electrode disposed inside the liquid conduit portion for coming into contact with the pressurized liquid; a gas conduit portion made of an insulation material and having a gas nozzle portion disposed around the liquid nozzle portion for converting the liquid column into fine particles to generate an atomized stream by making a gas stream from the gas nozzle portion act at an atomization point of the liquid column released into the open space from the liquid nozzle portion; and a ring-shaped induction electrode disposed around the atomization point located in the open space and having an electrode conductor made of a conductive material and coated with an insulation material.

Electrostatic atomizing apparatus and electrically-charged water particle spraying apparatus

Fire-extinguishing agent supplying equipment pressurizes a water-based fire-extinguishing agent and supplies the agent via a pipe; and the water-based fire-extinguishing agent is pressurized and supplied via the pipe to an electrification spray head installed in a protection area A, and the jetted particles of the fire-extinguishing agent are electrified and sprayed from the electrification spray head. A pulsed or alternating electrification voltage is applied to the electrification spray head from a voltage application unit, and an external electric field generated by applying the voltage between a water-side electrode unit and an induction electrode unit is applied to the fire-extinguishing agent in a jetting process to electrify the jetted particles.

Fire prevention equipment and spraying method

Cooling water is pressurized and supplied via a pipe to an electrified atomization head installed in an atomization cooling area. The jetted particles of the cooling water from the electrified atomization head are electrified and atomized. An electrification voltage is applied from a voltage application unit to the electrified atomization head, and the external electric field generated by applying a voltage between a water-side electrode unit and an induction electrode unit is applied to the cooling water in a jetting process so as to electrify the atomization water and facilitate adsorption to people.

Fire prevention equipment

A tube-end device for fire extinguishment jets and sprays pressurized and fed water, seawater, or aqueous fire-extinguishing agent from a tube end. The tube-end device for fire extinguishment is provided with: an induction electrode unit disposed in an emission space side of a nozzle unit positioned inside the tube end; a water-side electrode unit disposed at a position of the interior of a tube main body in contact with fire-extinguishing water; a voltage applying device which applies an external electric field, which is generated by applying a voltage between the induction electrode unit and the water-side electrode unit, to the water, seawater, or fire-extinguishing agent in the process of jetting from the nozzle unit, electrically charges jetted particles, and emit the particles; and a battery which supplies power to the voltage applying device.

Tube-end device for fire extinguishment

The present invention is to discharge the fire extinguishing water by accurately opening the valve, using a shape-memory alloy at a predetermined temperature in a fire. When a shape-memory alloy in a first heat sensitive operation part is heated to a predetermined memory restoring temperature, a pilot valve is operated by the restoring force thereof so that a spool valve can be in a state capable of being opened by an actuator. When a second heat sensitive operation part reaches a predetermined water discharge starting temperature higher than the memory restoring temperature, a fusible alloy provided inside is thermally decomposed so that the first heat sensitive operation part maintained in the closed state is released so as to discharge the fire extinguishing water. When the temperature becomes lower than the memory restoring temperature by the fire extinguishment by the water discharge, a restoring spring deforms the shape-memory alloy into the initial shape so as to drive the valve mechanism into the closed state for stopping the water discharge. Accordingly, since the start of the water discharge can be controlled by the water discharge starting temperature having less fluctuation with respect to the memory restoring temperature, the water can be discharged further accurately. Moreover, since the memory restoring temperature needs not be set accurately, the production efficiency of the sprinkler head can be improved to facilitate the mass productivity.

Sprinkler head

A sprinkler head connected with a fire extinguishing piping maintains a valve body in a closed state so as to contain compressed fire extinguishing water filled in a fire extinguishing piping when there is no fire, but opens and operates the valve body so as to discharge the compressed and supplied fire extinguishing water at the time of a fire. The fire extinguishing water is contained by closing the gap between the valve body and the peripheral part of the valve body by a sealing member mounted in the valve body, prepared by coating a rubber base material with a fluorine contained resin coating material. The rubber base material of the sealing member can have a round, oval, U-shaped, Y-shaped, or X-shaped cross-sectional shape. The rubber base material can be made from a fluorine rubber or a silicon rubber. The present invention is to utilize both advantages of the anti-corrosion property and the weathering resistance of a fluorine resin and the elasticity of a rubber, to obtain the sealing property with respect to the fire extinguishing water with a smaller load, and to prevent the malfunction of the sprinkler head caused by alteration or adhesion.

A double-nozzle deluge gun has a pair of nozzles arranged side by side rotatably on a rotatable table and an inter-nozzle control unit for adjusting the inter-nozzle angle measured between two lines obtained by projecting the radiation center lines of the nozzles onto a horizontal plane. Each nozzle has a deflector which is positioned in front of the nozzle during the very short range mode. Each deflector has a side cover which prevents water having passed through the deflector from excessively spreading sideways. The inter-nozzle angle and the water pressure are adjusted in accordance with desired water-reaching ranges, so as to achieve an optimal watering pattern in any range. Thus, the double-nozzle deluge gun can be controlled in accordance with desired water-reaching ranges, so as to achieve an optimal watering pattern having an appropriate width in any range.

Firefighting double-nozzle deluge gun and control method thereof

This invention relates to a fire supervising system and a fire extinguishing target determining method in the water discharging and fire extinguishing operation. The system and method of the present invention is characterized by dividing a fire supervisory region into a matrix pattern to set a pluraity of sections; identifying the section corresponding to a position of a fire from the positional information of the fire starting within the supervisory region which has been output from a fire sensor; and selecting a water discharging target for a water discharging nozzle based on a priority order which has been preliminarily set for the respective sections or selecting the water discharging nozzle in charge, optimum for the fire extinguishing operation which has been set preliminarily for the respective sections.

Fire supervising system and extinguishing target determining system

A water jet discharge pipe which produces a wide effective spray area and long water reach at low pressure and water volume. Compressed air is injected around the periphery of the pressurized water stream produced through an inner cylindrical member and which is throttled by a nozzle extending into such inner cylindrical member. The injected air prevents reduction of the flow velocity of the water by contact with the inner wall of the cylindrical member. In addition, external air is introduced through air inlets in an outer cylindrical member extending from the inner cylindrical member so as to straighten the air layer accompanying the water jet exiting from the inner cylindrical member and suppress premature dispersal of the water stream prior to ejection from the outer cylindrical member. After such ejection, expansion of the injected air atomizes the water stream to provide large area coverage thereof.

Discharge pipe and discharge apparatus using the same

A scanning fire-monitoring system comprising a fire source detecting apparatus including a detecting head having a small field of vision and adapted to detect heat radiant energy from a monitoring area, a vertical scanning drive means for letting the detecting head scan within a detection range of small width on the monitoring area, and a horizontal scanning drive means for mounting said detecting head and said vertical scanning drive means thereon and rotatable in a horizontal direction and an arithmetic unit for carrying out a required signal processing and decision on the basis of a detection signal from the detecting head said detecting head being driven in vertical and horizontal directions to scan over the entire monitoring area.

Scanning fire-monitoring system

In an apparatus for closing a fireproof door in case of emergency, the fireproof door and a release, which is secured to a door frame, are interconnected by a link mechanism comprising first, second and supplemental link arms. One end of the first link arms is pivoted to a driving shaft of a door closer secured to the fireproof door. The other end of the first link arm is pivoted to one end of the second link arm, the other end of which is pivoted to the release. The supplemental link arm is connected between the central point of the second link arm and a slider which is slidably mounted inside the release and latched by a latch mechanism when the fireproof door is open. When the slider is released from the latch mechanism by electrizing a solenoid which operates the latch mechanism, the slider is slid inside the release by the closing force of the door closer transmitted via the link mechanism, thereby closing the fireproof door.
