An IC tag according to the present invention includes: an IC chip (); a dipole antenna () for electrically transmitting and receiving information stored in the IC chip (); and a sheet-shaped substrate () that supports the IC chip () and the dipole antenna (). In this IC tag, 0.1≤R/L≤2.5 is satisfied, where R is a resistance value between two ends (S, S) of the dipole antenna () and L is a length of a path that connects the two ends (S, S) of the dipole antenna () while extending along the dipole antenna () without passing through the IC chip ().

An IC tag according to the present invention includes: a base sheet having a first surface and a second surface; an IC chip arranged on the first surface of the base sheet; an antenna that is arranged on the first surface of the base sheet and is configured to electrically transmit and receive information stored in the IC chip; and a protective sheet that is fixed to the first surface of the base sheet via a bonding agent, so as to cover the IC chip and the antenna. The protection sheet has a protruding portion that protrudes along the IC chip.

An IC tag according to the present invention includes: a sheet-shaped tag main body having an outer shape that extends in a lengthwise direction and a widthwise direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction; and a reinforcing member that is arranged along the widthwise direction so as to cover a surrounding area of the tag main body. The tag main body includes: an IC chip; an antenna configured to electrically transmit and receive information stored in the IC chip; and a sheet-shaped substrate that supports the IC chip and the antenna. The reinforcing member is made of a material having a Shore D hardness that is less than or equal to a Shore D hardness of the substrate, and is arranged so as to cover at least the IC chip.

Provided is a technique for preventing the occurrence of damage, such as breaking of an antenna, due to bending, in an IC tag in which an IC chip is protected with a reinforcing member. An IC tag according to an aspect of the present invention is an IC tag attachable to an article, and includes an inlay including an IC chip and an antenna electrically connected to the IC chip; at least one reinforcing member that is disposed on at least one face of the inlay so as to protect the IC chip; and at least one sheet-like cover member that is disposed on at least one face side of the inlay and that covers the reinforcing member. A wireless communication improving sheet capable of improving a possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication, a wireless communication IC tag, and a wireless communication system are provided. A first spacer has an arrangement surface for arranging a wireless IC tag. An auxiliary antenna, which resonates with respect to an electromagnetic wave used for wireless communication, is provided on a surface opposite to the arrangement surface of the first spacer. A second spacer is provided on an opposite side to the first spacer with the auxiliary antenna interposed therebetween. The first spacer and the auxiliary antenna is formed with a groove (a hole) having the second spacer as the bottom.

A first spacer has an arrangement surface on which a wireless IC tag is arranged, and an auxiliary antenna that resonates with electromagnetic wave used for wireless communication is provided on a surface opposite to the arrangement surface of the first spacer. A second spacer is provided opposite to the first spacer with the auxiliary antenna interposed therebetween. The first spacer and the auxiliary antenna are provided with a groove (opening) as an adjuster for resonance frequency so that the second spacer forms a bottom of the groove. Application to a plurality of communication frequencies is made possible by changing an arrangement position of the wireless IC tag with respect to the adjuster.

An information storage medium, a managed product and a management system in which the possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication can be improved and the reading direction limitation can be reduced are provided. The information storage medium includes a wireless IC tag in which information is stored, a sheet body including a first spacer, an auxiliary antenna and a second spacer, and an elongated member formed of a conductive material. The elongated member is provided to be opposite to the wireless IC tag with respect to the sheet body. As the elongated member, for example, a part of a tool such as a body portion of a screwdriver can be used.

In one embodiment of the present invention, an object of the invention is to provide a wireless communication-improving sheet member capable of increasing a possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication, a wireless IC tag, an antenna, and a wireless communication system.
