A coating material composition include a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin, a fluororesin, and light diffusive particles, and the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin has a weight-average molecular weight in a range of 10,000 to 30,000 and a hydroxyl value in a range of 14 to 70, wherein a mass ratio of the fluororesin to the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (the fluororesin/the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin) is in a range of 5/95 to 50/50. The coating material composition can provide the light diffusing properties capable of uniformly diffusing light while effectively masking a light source image.

Coating material composition, and light-diffusing member manufactured using said coating material composition

A reflector of a lighting apparatus comprises a substrate and a coating layer located on a surface of the substrate. The coating layer is formed of a resin composition comprising an acrylic resin having at least one of a dimethylsiloxane group and a perfluoroalkyl group. Then, the coating layer is configured so that total surface free energy is less than or equal to 30 [mJ/m], and when the total surface free energy is divided into two components of a polar force component and a dispersion force component, surface free energy of the dispersion force component is less than or equal to 25 [mJ/m].

The present invention provides a functional coated product having excellent adhesion properties of a coating to a substrate, hardly causing the deterioration of the substrate and the coating due to a photocatalyst, hardly having dirt because the smoothness of the surface coating is high, and having high photocatalytic action; a method for producing the same and the use thereof. The coated product of the present invention has the first coating layer comprising a cured coating made of an acryl-modified silicone resin coating material, which is formed on the surface of the substrate, and the second coating layer comprising a cured coating made of a functional coating material containing the photocatalyst, which is formed con the surface of the first coating layer. When producing such a coated product, the acryl-modified silicone resin coating material is applied to the surface of the substrate as the first coating layer and it is semi-cured. After that, a photocatalyst-containing functional coating material is applied to the surface of this first coating layer in a semi-cured condition and then both of the coating layers are cured. Thereby, a coated product having a higher effect can be obtained.

Functional coated product and process for producing the same and the use thereof

A garbage disposing device includes a treatment chamber used to decompose food wastes by a microorganism, intake passage, exhaust passage, and a return path extending from a diverging portion in the exhaust passage to the treatment chamber. An exhaust airflow adjuster is provided at the diverging portion. A control unit controls the exhaust airflow adjuster such that after water and ammonia in an air exhausted from said treatment chamber are adsorbed by a dehumidifier provided in the exhaust passage, a part of the air is returned to the treatment chamber through the return path, and the remaining air is exhausted to the outside through a deodorizer. As a result, a small deodorizer is available, and the garbage disposing device can be small-sized as a whole. In addition, it is possible to save energy used for the decomposing treatment of the food wastes. In a regenerating operation for removing the adsorbed water and ammonia from the dehumidifier, the control unit controls the exhaust airflow adjuster such that the return path is closed at the diverging portion.

The purifying chamber has a plurality of zones, wherein a first purifying chamber is connected to the processing chamber and is provided with an ammonia purifying unit for purifying ammonia, and a second purifying chamber into which gas allowed to pass through the first purifying chamber is introduced is provided with a non-ammonia purifying unit for purifying non-ammonia gas. Ammonia contained in a high concentration and having a large threshold is first removed in the first purifying chamber. Then, non-ammonia contained at a low concentration and having a small threshold is removed. Therefore, an excellent purifying efficiency can be realized.

A garbage disposal apparatus having a processing chamber for processing garbage; and a purifying chamber for purifying gas discharged from the processing chamber and containing stinking components, wherein the process of garbage in the processing chamber is performed by decomposition using microorganisms, the purifying chamber has a plurality of zones, a first purifying chamber connected to the processing chamber is provided with an ammonia purifying unit for purifying ammonia and a second purifying chamber into which gas allowed to pass through the first purifying chamber is introduced is provided with a non-ammonia purifying unit for purifying non-ammonia gas. Ammonia contained in a high concentration and having a large threshold is first removed in the first purifying chamber. Then, non-ammonia contained at a low concentration and having a small threshold is removed. Therefore, an excellent purifying efficiency can be realized.

A porous clay composite having fine metal particles deposited substantially only on surfaces of inorganic particles which are intercalated between layers of an expandable clay is obtained. After the expandable clay is expanded with a solvent into an expanded clay, the inorganic particles are intercalated between the layers of the expanded clay. The inorganic particles have photo-semiconducting property, that is, a plurality of carriers such as electrons and holes are released from the inorganic particles by irradiation of a light such as ultraviolet light. A solution including metal ions is mixed with the inorganic particles intercalated clay to form a mixed solution thereof. Subsequently, the light is irradiated to the mixed solution to deposit the fine metal particles substantially only on the inorganic particles which are intercalated between the layers of the expanded clay, so that the porous clay composite is formed in the mixed solution. The porous clay composite including the mixed solution is dried by a supercritical drying or a carbon dioxide extractive drying, etc., so as not to disrupt a porous structure thereof. When a metal having oxidation/reduction catalysis is used as the fine metal particles, the porous clay composite functions as an excellent oxidation/reduction catalyst.
