A switch device includes a housing having a receiving portion; an operation member that receives a pressing operation; a plurality of fixed contact points provided in the receiving portion side by side at predetermined intervals; a plurality of movable contact points having contact point portions that come into sliding contact with the fixed contact points; and a snap action mechanism that drives the movable contact points when the operation member is pressed to a predetermined position.

Switch device and method of assembling snap action mechanism

To provide a buckle switch and buckle device wherein a first switch section and a second switch section are unitized to provide improved assembling workability and increased production efficiency. As a tongue plate is inserted to a buckle body to move a slider, a pressing segmentof the slider rotates a leaf springin a direction a and, hence, a depressible portionis depressed to cause a movable memberto move in a direction X. At this time, a stationary contactmoves into and is pinched by pinch membersof a movable contactdisposed on the movable member, rendering the switch section SWto assume a conductive state. Concurrently, since a magnet Mis placed in opposition to a magnetic detecting element, a second switch section SWis switched over. By unitizing the first and second switch sections, assembling workability of a buckle switchto the buckle body can be improved, enabling an increase in production efficiency.

Buckle switch and buckle device

A push switch includes an operating body, a case, a return spring, and a light source. The operating body is controlled by push operation, includes a through-hole in the center and a display portion at the upper edge of the through-hole, and supports a movable contact unit. The case has the insert hole on a bottom surface opposing the through-hole and fixed contact units on an inner surface of the sidewall. The movable contact unit comes into contact with fixed contact units. The return spring is interposed between the case and the operating body and returns the position of the operating body in the reverse direction of the push operation. The light source stored in the insert hole and the through-hole. The through-hole is formed linearly in the direction the operating body is moved during the push operation so that the light source does not interfere with the operating body.

Push switch

A switch device capable of increasing the operation speed at the time of reversion of contacts, thereby suppressing generation of arcs, and capable of increasing the contact pressure between the contacts, thereby reducing the bouncing of the contacts. A first rotor plate and a second rotor plate are operatively coupled with each other with a torsion coil spring and when the first rotor plate is rotated, a reversing force from the torsion coil spring causes the contact driving part to engage with or disengage from the contact plate.

Switch device

A switch device includes a first case and a second case. Stationary contacts are enclosed within the first case that is sealed by a cover. An operating lever configured to actuate a movable contact is partially received by a window hole within the cover. An engaging hook is unitary part of or is coupled to the outside surface of the second case. Stationary terminals project from the stationary contacts. The second case encloses the first case and the cover. The first case and the cover are made of resins having an arc resistance. The second case is made of a thermoplastic resin that is more flexible than the first case.

Rocker-type power-supply switch device

The electrical equipment of the present invention is operated such that the ON operating member for the primary power supply supplying circuit is manually operated, the switch device S is turned ON and when a supplying of electrical power for the primary power supply supplying circuit is shut off, the circuit for the control system is operated and upon performing a predetermined security processing, the driving source is driven, the OFF operating member is automatically operated, the switch device S is automatically turned OFF and supplying of an electrical power to the primary power supply supplying circuit is automatically shut off, so that it is possible to perform an appropriate processing before shutting off the primary power supply supplying circuit and thus it is also possible to provide electrical equipment showing a high safety characteristic.

Electrical equipment having energy saving mode capable of shutting off supplying of voltage to primary power supply supplying circuit under no use thereof

In a switch device, a support arm is retained by a conductor plate at one of its ends and by a center terminal at its other end The spring member, which made of an elastic round wire, is placed in a bent form between the conductor plate and the center terminal so as to movably support the conductor plate on the center terminal. The support arm and the spring member are retained by the conductor plate and the center terminal on arc-shaped surfaces.

The present invention provides electronic equipment that can shut off and supply power to a primary power supplying circuit by automatic operations, directly shut off power to the primary power supplying circuit by easy manual operations based on the operator's will, and never fails to zero power consumption of the primary power supplying circuit during no use. The electronic equipment comprises: a primary circuit; a secondary power supplying circuit to which power is supplied from the primary circuit; a control circuit; a switch apparatus provided with a switch; and a capacitor, wherein the switch apparatus includes: an operation member for switching the switch between manual ON and OFF positions and an automatic ON/OFF position in which ON/OFF operations can be automatically performed; and a driving source for automatically operating the switch, wherein, in the automatic ON/OFF position, the driving source is driven by a signal from the control circuit or power supplied from the capacitor to automatically turn the switch ON or OFF, whereby power to the primary power supplying circuit can be automatically supplied or shut off, and wherein the operation member is manually operated to turn the switch ON or OFF, whereby power to the primary circuit can be manually supplied or shut off.

Electronic equipment adapted to reduce power consumption during no operation

An electronic device having an auto-OFF function is disclosed in which a switch unit having an auto-OFF function and capable of being operated manually and automatically is connected to a primary circuit in a power control circuit, the switch unit S,being normally turned auto-OFF with a signal provided from a control system circuit to cut off the supply of electric power to the primary circuit, thereby permitting a stand-by electric power to be nil, and if a trouble should occur in the control system circuit to an inoperable extent of the switch, the switch can be turned OFF manually.

Electronic device having auto-off or auto-on/off function

In the electric apparatus of the present invention, when the supply of electric power to a primary power supply circuit is started, a check is made to see if the apparatus has been turned ON by operation of a switch device S, by collation with the contents stored in a memory (not shown), and in accordance with the result of the collation a control system circuit makes control to continue or interrupt the supply of electric power to the primary power supply circuit. Therefore, in the case of a rise from an abnormal condition such as power failure, the supply of electric power to the primary power supply circuit can be interrupted rapidly. Thus, whether a trouble has occurred or not during power failure can be checked before resuming the operation and the occurrence of a danger can be prevented thereby.

Electric apparatus capable of turning off a power supply circuit automatically to inhibit resuming of operation until safety is ensured at the time of restoration from abnormal stop

A connecting structure in a switch device with AC inlet is disclosed wherein, when terminals of the switch device are connected together using a thin metallic connecting strip, there is no fear of an external force on the terminals causing damage to the connection between the terminals and the connecting strip and resulting in unstable contact, and which, even at different thermal expansion coefficients in a power ON condition, ensures a stably held state of the connecting strip and can afford excellent assemblability and reliability of connection. The input device comprises AC inlets having a connecting pin for AC input and also having an inlet terminal for connection, an AC switch having a connecting-side terminal and an output-side terminal, a metallic connecting strip for electrically connecting the inlet terminal of the AC inlets with the connecting-side terminal of the AC switch, and a bracket with the AC inlets and the AC switch attached thereto, the connecting strip being formed of a flat metallic strip and having a bent portion at an intermediate position of the connection between the inlet terminal and the connecting-side terminal of the AC switch.

A push-button switch including a sliding member, a lock pin for locking the sliding member at a certain location, a heart cam including a lock cam along which the lock pin slides, and a movable stopper member, disposed at the heart cam, for holding the lock pin in a lock position as a result of cooperating with the lock cam or for unlocking the lock pin. The push-button switch incorporates a self-restoring function, wherein friction between the lock pin and the lock cam during an auto-off state is reduced to decrease the amount of force required to unlock the lock pin, thereby reducing the solenoid actuating current, and simplifying the actuating structure, as a result of which a more reliable product with a longer life and a smaller size can be produced.

Push-button switch incorporating self-restoring function

A connecting structure in a switch device with AC inlets is disclosed wherein, when terminals of the switch device are connected together using a thin metallic connecting strip, there is no fear of an external force being imposed on the terminals and causing damage to the connection between the terminals and the connecting strip, nor is there any fear of unstable contact, and which can keep a terminal holding position of the bracket stable and is superior in assemblability and reliability of connection. The switch device comprises AC inlets having a connecting pin for AC input and an inlet terminal for connection, an AC switch having a connecting-side terminal and an output-side terminal, a metallic connecting strip for electrically connecting the inlet terminal of the AC inlets and the connecting-side terminal of the AC switch with each other, and a bracket with the AC inlets and the AC switch attached thereto. The inlet terminal, which is connected with the connecting strip, is provided with a connecting piece for connection with the connecting strip and an arm portion having the connecting piece at a free end thereof, the free end of the arm portion being flexible in a rotational direction centered on the axis of the connecting pin of the AC inlets.
