A shift device includes a knob that is rotatable to select one of a plurality of gear modes of a transmission of a vehicle and a cam member that engages a portion of the knob in a rotation direction of the knob. The cam member rotates integrally with the knob only when engaged with the portion of the knob. The shift device further includes a drive source that rotates the cam member and a controller. The controller controls the drive source to rotate the knob to an operation position corresponding to a predetermined gear mode if a particular condition is satisfied. The controller decreases a voltage applied to the drive source when the cam member is rotated in at least a pre-engagement section until the cam member engages the portion of the knob from the voltage applied when the cam member is rotated in other sections.

Shift device

This shifting device is equipped with an operation unit that is operated for switching among a plurality of shift ranges of a transmission installed in a vehicle. The operation unit includes: a first operation portion that is operated by pressing; and a plurality of second operation portions that are arranged on either side of the first operation portion and are operated in different directions about their common turning axis.

Shifting device

In a shift device, a shift locking mechanism drives a motor to perform locking and locking release of rotation of a knob, and an autocorrect mechanism drives the motor to change a shift position of the knob to a P position. Thus, driving of the common motor enables locking and locking release of the rotation of the knob to be performed, and enables a shift position of the knob to be changed to the P position, thereby enabling a simple configuration.

A lock device includes an inlet arranged in a vehicle and having an inlet housing into which a charge cable is insertable. A lock mechanism is capable of locking the charge cable to the inlet. The lock device includes a lock mechanism attachment portion arranged in the inlet housing and enabling attachment of the lock mechanism to the inlet housing. The lock device may be located on an outer surface of the inlet housing and may include a movable lock pin that serves to retain a lock arm of the charge cable and may also be used to retain a lid for closing the inlet. With this system the inlet housing and lock mechanism form a single unit for ease of assembly.

Charge plug locking device

A lock device that locks or unlocks a locking subject includes a lock member moved between a lock position where the lock member locks the locking subject and an unlock position where the lock member unlocks the unlocking subject and a movable transmission member that acts to move the lock member to at least the lock position. A guide mechanism is arranged between the transmission member and the lock member. The guide mechanism includes a sloped lock guide surface. The lock guide surface guides the lock member to the lock position when the transmission member moves in a first direction.

Lock device

A shift device includes a knob rotated to select a mode of a vehicle transmission. A rotary detent member is rotated to a rotation position corresponding to the selected transmission mode. The rotary detent member is coaxial with the knob. A connecting member connects the knob and the rotary detent member when located at the first position. The connecting member is disconnected from the knob when located at the second position. A motor rotates the connecting member and the rotary detent member. During a normal operation in which a certain condition is unsatisfied, a control circuit controls the motor to hold the connecting member at the first position. When the certain condition is satisfied, the control circuit controls the motor to move the connecting member to the second position and move the rotary detent member to a rotation position corresponding to a parking mode.

A lock device includes a lock member moved between a lock position, at which the lock member restricts removal of a locking subject from a power port, and an unlock position, at which the lock member permits removal of the locking subject from the power port. A transmission member is moved between a first position, at which the transmission member fixes the lock member at the lock position, and a second position, at which the transmission member permits movement of the lock member to the unlock position. A auxiliary unlocking mechanism includes a movable forcible unlocking member, which manually moves the transmission member to the second position, and a holding unit, which holds the forcible unlocking member while permitting such movement. The auxiliary unlocking mechanism may be used should there be failure of the main unlocking mechanism.

A lock device includes a helical gear driven by a motor. The helical gear is connected to a control shaft by a transmission member. Further, the helical gear is connected to a lid lock bar by a link bar. A coil spring constantly urges the lid lock bar toward a lid lock position.

A lock device for a power supplying plug arranged in a vehicle that performs wireless communication with an electronic key. The lock device includes a charge ECU that restricts unauthorized removal of the power supplying plug from an inlet of the vehicle. The vehicle includes antennas that transmit a wireless signal. A first one of the antennas relates to permission for removal of the power supplying plug. A second one of the antennas relates to unlocking or permission for unlocking of a door. A charge ECU stops transmitting the wireless signal from the first antenna when the vehicle is parked and the second antenna transmits the wireless signal. The charge ECU stops the transmission of the wireless signal related to the unlocking of the door when the wireless signal related to removal of the power supplying plug is transmitted.

Lock device for power supplying plug

A card-type electronic key having a high level of portability and including an emergency mechanical key that is difficult to duplicate. The electronic key is used with a communication controller arranged in a vehicle. The electronic key includes a communication circuit unit which transmits a wireless signal including an authentication code. The communication circuit unit is allowed to control an external device arranged on the subject when the communication controller receiving the wireless signal determines that the verification code is authentic. A key card unit includes a verification code pattern formed by through holes. A concealment film is removably adhered to the key card unit and conceals the through holes so that the through holes cannot be seen.

Card-type electronic key

A power feeding plug locking device that locks a power feeding plug to a power feeding inlet. The power feeding inlet is arranged in a machine including a door that can be locked. The locking device includes a lock mechanism of which operational state is shifted between a lock state and an unlock state. The lock mechanism prohibits removal of the power feeding plug from the inlet in the lock state and allows removal of the power feeding plug from the inlet in the unlock state. An operation unit is operated when switching the operational state of the lock mechanism between the lock state and the unlock state. A door lock state confirmation unit confirms whether the door of the machine is locked. A controller controls the operational state of the lock mechanism based on the operation of operation unit whether the door is locked.

Power feeding plug locking device

A power plug locking device that prevents unauthorized removal of a power plug from an inlet includes a lock member pivoted about its axis. The lock member is pivoted between a lock position, at which the lock member locks the power plug to the inlet, and an unlock position, at which the lock member releases the power plug from a state locked to the inlet. A manual operation unit is manually operated to pivot the lock member from the unlock position to the lock position. A position holding unit is formed to hold the lock member at the lock position and maintain the power plug in a locked state with the lock member.

Power plug locking device

A locking device for a power feeding plug installed in a vehicle. The vehicle includes an inlet that receives the power feeding plug to charge a battery, which powers a motor. A door antenna transmits a verification signal to an electronic key. The locking device includes a lock bar moved between lock and unlock positions. The lock bar blocks the power feeding plug, which is attached to the inlet, when located at the lock position to prohibit removal of the power feeding plug from the inlet. An inlet antenna transmits the verification signal to an area that includes the inlet. The inlet antenna and door antenna are arranged at different locations. A controller moves the lock bar when verification of the electronic key is accomplished in response to the verification signal from the inlet antenna.

Battery charging inlet and locking device

A mechanical key for accommodation in a portable device for use in an electronic key system. The mechanical key is provided with a grip including a socket and a key plate fixed to the grip. The key plate includes a blade and a shank, which is inserted into the socket. The shank includes a first edge for abutting against the socket when the shank is inserted into the socket and a shoulder extending from the blade. The socket includes a guide for abutting against and guiding the first edge of the shank when the shank is inserted into the socket. The guide is mated with the first edge under pressure. The socket further includes a second edge for abutting against the shoulder when the shank is inserted into the socket. The second edge is mated with the shoulder under pressure.

Mechanical key

A thin key that is thin but includes serrations on each of two opposite sides of a blade (). The key is associated with a cylinder lock including a rotor () with tumblers (-) retained in the rotor. The blade, which is for insertion into the rotor of the cylinder lock, includes opposite first and second wide sides (F, F; F, F) and opposite first and second narrow sides (). A first notch () is formed in the first wide side and a second notch () is formed in the second wide side. The first and second notches each have a serrated wall () engageable with the tumblers. The first notch and the second notch are spaced apart so that they do not overlap each other. The sum of the depths of the first and second notches (L, D; L, D) is greater than or equal to the thickness of the blade (L, D).
