Various battery arrangement structures are presented for a saddle-riding type vehicle. An arrangement can be configured to protect a battery from external impact, and can include a pair of left and right rear frames disposed at the rear section of the vehicle with a battery disposed between the pair of left and right rear frames. The pair of left and right rear frames include a pair of left and right first rear frames and a pair of left and right second rear frames. A power unit-supporting portion which swingably supports a power unit is provided at rear portions of the pair of left and right rear extension portions, and the battery is disposed between the pair of left and right second rear frames and above the power unit-supporting portion.

Battery arrangement structure and saddle-riding type vehicle

A saddle type electric vehicle () includes a charging cord () that is connectable to an external power supply, a cord accommodating section () configured to accommodate a charging cord (), and a step floor () on which an occupant places his/her legs, a center tunnel (CT) bulging above the step floor () is provided in front of a front end of a seat () and below a handle (), and the cord accommodating section () is disposed in the center tunnel (CT).

Saddle type electric vehicle

A saddle-type electric vehicle (A, orB) includes an electric motor () for vehicle traveling, a battery () which supplies electric power to the electric motor (), a power control unit () which controls the electric motor (), step floors () on which a rider places his/her feet, a center tunnel (CT) which extends in a vehicle front-rear direction at a left-right center portion of the step floors (), and a charger () mounted on the vehicle body and configured to charge the battery (), in which the power control unit () is disposed inside the center tunnel (CT), and the charger () is disposed to overlap the power control unit () in a plan view.

A saddle type electric vehicle () includes a charging cord () that is connectable to an external power supply, a cord accommodating section () configured to accommodate a charging cord (), and a vehicle body cover () on which a cord accommodating section () provided, a vehicle body cover () includes a cover inclined surface (CS) inclined with respect to a ground plane, the cover inclined surface (CS) includes an inclined surface upper section (CS) located on an upper section of the cover inclined surface (CS), and in the cord accommodating section (), a cord drawing section () disposed in the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS) and configured to draw the charging cord () into the cord accommodating section () and an accommodating space () configured to accommodate the charging cord () drawn from the cord drawing section () from the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS) to a lower section of the cord accommodating section () are provided.
