It is aimed to prevent the rattling of a shield terminal in a housing. A shield connector is provided with a shield terminal () configured such that an inner conductor () and a dielectric () are surrounded by an outer conductor (), and a housing () for accommodating the shield terminal (). The housing () includes a receptacle () for surrounding a front end part of the shield terminal () while being spaced apart therefrom. The housing () is formed with a tubular holding portion () for holding an outer peripheral part of the front end part of the shield terminal () in the receptacle ().

Shield connector

A shield connector is provided with an inner conductor, a dielectric for accommodating the inner conductor, and an outer conductor for surrounding the dielectric. The dielectric includes a stopper portion for stopping a movement of the dielectric along a wall surface of the outer conductor by abutting on the outer conductor. A displacement of the dielectric with respect to the outer conductor can be prevented by the abutment of the stopper portion on the outer conductor.

It is aimed to reduce friction resistance generated in a resilient contact portion. A shield connector is provided with a dielectric for accommodating an inner conductor, a tubular outer conductor for surrounding the dielectric, a resilient contact portion formed in the outer conductor, and a cut portion formed in the outer conductor and enabling a supporting portion supporting the resilient contact portion, out of the outer conductor, to be resiliently deformed. If the resilient contact portion contacts a mating outer conductor and is resiliently deformed, the supporting portion supporting the resilient contact portion is resiliently deformed by a reaction force from the mating outer conductor. Since a resilient deformation amount of the resilient contact portion is reduced by as much as the supporting portion is resiliently deformed, friction resistance generated in the resilient contact portion is reduced.

A connector is provided with a terminal, a die-cast member for surrounding an outer periphery of the terminal, a dielectric to be arranged between the terminal and the die-cast member, and a housing into which the die-cast member is mounted. The die-cast member includes a locking protrusion, and the housing includes a locking recess recessed in a mounting direction of the die-cast member. The locking protrusion is press-fit into the locking recess. A closing portion shut off from outside is formed between a tip part of the locking protrusion in the mounting direction and a back end part of the locking recess in the mounting direction.

A shield connector is provided with a housing including a module accommodation chamber and a terminal module to be inserted into the module accommodation chamber from behind the housing. The terminal module is formed such that an inner conductor is surrounded by a dielectric and the dielectric is surrounded by an outer conductor. The outer conductor includes a projecting portion projecting from a position rearward of a front end of the outer conductor on an outer surface of the outer conductor. An inner wall surface constituting the module accommodation chamber has a facing inner surface facing the outer surface formed with the projecting portion. The facing inner surface is formed with a projection-like backlash eliminating portion. The projecting portion is arranged behind the backlash eliminating portion with the terminal module inserted in the module accommodation chamber.

A connector in the present disclosure is a connector to be connected to a mating connector while being connected to a cable in which an outer periphery of a wire is covered with a shield body, and includes an inner conductor and an outer conductor. The inner conductor is connected to a core of a coated wire. The outer conductor includes a large-diameter tube portion, a small-diameter tube portion and a shield connecting portion. The shield connecting portion is connected to the shield body. The large-diameter tube portion is formed into such a tubular shape that a tubular mating outer conductor provided in the mating connector is fittable thereinto. The small-diameter tube portion is formed into a tubular shape having a smaller diameter than the large-diameter tube portion and accommodates the inner conductor.

A male connector connected to an end of a cable, said male connector comprising a first male outer conductor, and a second male outer conductor assembled to the first male outer conductor. The first male outer conductor and the second male outer conductor in an assembled state cover a male dielectric body in which a male inner conductor connected to the electric wire is housed. One of the first male outer conductor and the second male outer conductor has a male positioning projection which is formed so as to project toward the other one of the first male outer conductor and the second male outer conductor, and the other one of the first male outer conductor and the second male outer conductor has a male slit which is formed so as to engage with the male positioning projection.

A connector in the present disclosure is a connector to be connected to a cable and including an inner conductor, an outer conductor and a housing. The outer conductor includes a tubular connecting tube portion and a covering portion. The connecting tube portion accommodates the inner conductor while being electrically insulated from the inner conductor. The covering portion is arranged on an outer periphery of the connecting tube portion. The covering portion includes a fitting hole. An accommodating portion of the housing accommodates the outer conductor together with the inner conductor. An inner wall of the accommodating portion is formed with a terminal locking portion to be fit into the fitting hole. The covering portion includes a locked portion to be locked to the terminal locking portion. The locked portion projects toward the inner wall provided with the terminal locking portion on an opening edge of the fitting hole.

A female connector to be connected to an end part of such a shielded cable is provided with female terminals to be connected to cores, an insulating dielectric, a first outer conductor including a tubular portion, a connection plate portion to be overlapped on the braided wire and a first coupling portion coupling the tubular portion and the connection plate portion, and a second outer conductor including a rear crimping portion and the connection plate portion from outside the braided wire and the connection plate portion, a front crimping portion to be connected to the tubular portion from outside the tubular portion and a second coupling portion. The outer peripheries of the cores are surrounded by the first and second coupling portions with the second coupling portion at least partially overlapped on the outside of the first coupling portion.
