A nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes vanadium pentoxide, a first carbon black, and a first binder. The negative electrode includes a silicon-containing material, graphite, a second carbon black, and a second binder. When the battery voltage is 0 V, the potential of each of the positive electrode and negative electrode is 2.5 to 3.5 V versus metal lithium.

Nonaqueous electrolyte battery

A coin-type lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material including a silicon alloy material, a conductive agent including a carbon material, and a binder. The silicon alloy material includes a phase A including a lithium-silicon alloy and a phase B including an intermetallic compound of a transition metal element and silicon. In the lithium-silicon alloy, a ratio of lithium atoms relative to silicon atoms is 2.75 to 3.65 in a 100% state-of-charge.

Coin-type lithium secondary battery

Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte battery excellent in initial static characteristics and continuous charge characteristics. The non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes a pellet-shaped positive electrode, a pellet-shaped negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material, aluminum powder, a conductive agent, and a binder. The positive electrode active material contains vanadium pentoxide. The positive electrode has a porosity of 35.6 to 45.4 vol %. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material containing silicon, a conductive agent, and a binder.

Non-aqueous electrolyte battery

Disclosed is a battery with terminal, including a power generating element and a housing can accommodating the power generating element. The power generating element includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a material mixture including a negative electrode active material and a binder. The negative electrode active material contains an amorphous Si phase, and the binder includes a polyacrylic acid. The non-aqueous electrolyte includes a non-aqueous solvent, and a lithium salt dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent, and the non-aqueous solvent contains vinylethylene carbonate. The housing can has at least one lead terminal welded thereto. The molar ratio of the vinylethylene carbonate to the amorphous Si phase in the negative electrode active material is 0.09 to 0.17.
