A power-supply control system includes: a lock control unit that controls a door-lock device; and a travel control unit that controls a travel operating unit related to either driving the power of the vehicle, braking the vehicle, or steering the vehicle. A lock high-level control unit, in a state in which supply of electric power to the lock control unit, the travel operating unit, and the travel control unit is stopped, while the first trigger signal is not outputted from an operation unit, makes electric power not be supplied from a power supply to the lock control unit, the travel operating unit, and the travel control unit, and when the first trigger signal is outputted, starts to supply electric power from the power supply to the lock control unit and the door-lock device and makes the lock control unit execute control to unlock the door-lock device.

Power-supply control system and power-supply control method

A vehicle control system includes an entry ECU that performs first authentication processing for access from an outside of a vehicle, a door control ECU that controls locking and unlocking of a door of the vehicle, and a central ECU, the entry ECU transmits a first startup request, which instructs to start up the central ECU, before executing the first authentication processing, and the central ECU transmits a second startup request which instructs to start up the door control ECU.

An engagement structure includes a cover having an opening portion, a block member inserted into the opening portion, an engagement mechanism configured to engage the block member with the opening portion, and an engagement stabilization mechanism configured to stabilize an engagement state of the engagement mechanism. The engagement stabilization mechanism includes a first stabilization mechanism and a second stabilization mechanism. The first stabilization mechanism permits excessive insertion due to backlash that occurs in the engagement mechanism and to restore the excessive insertion after the block member is engaged with the opening portion. The second stabilization mechanism performs a slide engagement between the block member and the opening portion and to restrict a wall inner surface of the cover from moving away from an outer surface of a side portion of the block member after the slide engagement is completed.

A vehicle customizing system is highly reliable in the event of communication failures. For setting control characteristic values pertaining to functions of control units to control characteristic values favored by the user, the functions and the present control characteristic values set for the functions are displayed on a display unit. The control characteristic values, which are changed using the display unit, are stored in first function information tables of the control units, which directly perform the functions. Even in the event of a communication failure, the control units are capable, on their own, of controlled objects in order to perform the functions thereof based on the control characteristic values stored in the first function information tables.
