A fiscal board receiving case is provided. A management board receiving case includes a case main body and a lid connected to the case main body and receives a management board on which a memory storing data including fiscal information and a management board-side connector are mounted. A control board receiving case includes a case main body and a lid connected to the case main body and receives a control board on which a controller and a control board-side connector connected to the management board-side connector are mounted. The management board receiving case and the control board receiving case are configured such that one box-like body that receives at least the management board is formed while the management board-side connector and the control board-side connector are connected to each other by engaging the management board receiving case with the control board receiving case through engagement members provided in the cases. The management board receiving case and the control board receiving case are configured such that engagement between the cases and engagement between the case main body and the lid in each of the cases are irreversibly maintained after the cases are engaged with each other.

An electronic apparatus is provided. A management hoard includes: a control section; a real-time clock that outputs data indicating current date and time to the control section; a memory that stores fiscal data including the data indicating the current date and time and fiscal information under the control of the control section; and a power source that supplies power to the real-time clock through a power supply path. A housing box includes a box main body and a cover. The housing box that houses the management board. When the cover is in a closed state, the power supply path is formed and the power is supplied to the real-time clock. When the cover is placed in an open state, the power supply path is shut off and the power supplied to the real-time clock is shut off.

Fiscal printer

An inkjet printer provided with an ink jet print head having a nozzle, an ink channel that is connected to the nozzle, and an electrostatic actuator that is composed of a diaphragm that is provided in a part of the ink channel and an electrode placed outside of the ink channel opposite to the diaphragm. The diaphragm is distorted by means of an electrostatic force generated by applying a first voltage to the electrostatic actuator. A second voltage, different than the first voltage, is applied to the actuator to relax the diaphragm and to discharge ejecting ink droplets from the nozzle.

A printer is provided comprising a carriage on which recording head is mounted. Drive mechanisms for moving carriage in reciprocating motions an encoder having openings provided contiguously in the circumferential direction at fixed intervals, attached thereto, and which rotates as carriage moves. A position detector is provided in proximity to the encoder for detecting the encoder's detection-target unit and generates timing pulses in response thereto. A shielding plate is attached to carriage for blocking the encoder from the position detector at the home position. A processor detects the home position for carriage based upon a timing pulse pause time.

Printer and its control method

A highly reliable, low-noise, printer for providing good print quality while configured to print and feed paper using a single motor. A cam mechanism is used to provide simplified control over paper feeding operations. A print head carriage is driven by a belt drive gear assembly that also drives the paper feed cam directly. A paper feed roller is rotated by a drive lever assembly which interacts with a first cam profile formed on a surface of the paper feed cam, and the resulting torque is controlled by a contact release mechanism driven by interaction with a second cam profile also formed on a surface of the paper feed cam.
