In a data driven object recognition system and object recognition method, a connection relationship between an object feature extraction unit and a plurality of task-specific identification units is stored in a connection switch according to a type of task. The connection relationship is changed based on the connection information to suppress the amount of labeling in constructing a learning data set.

Systems, methods and devices for failure analysis are provided. Using aggregation flow mining (AFM) or a similar method, an integrated mining of flow (IMF) acquires, from each router to be tested, information relating to each flow. The IMF, in relation to each of the routers, obtains distributions of statistical information such as throughput or difference for each flow; calculates, in relation to each of the distributions, a Mahalanobis distance in relation to the expected value of a reference distribution; and makes a comprehensive assessment of the distributions to perform a fault determination. When the fault determination is performed, a normal value of the distribution used for comparison is acquired from AFM and updated through feedback as needed. After the results of fault determination relating to other routers are assessed, the expected value of the standard deviation and the average value of the reference distribution used for comparison are updated.

In cooperation between each data center and a WAN, virtual machine migration is carried out without interruption in processing so as to enable effective power-saving implementation, load distribution, or fault countermeasure processing. Each node located at a boundary point between the WAN and another network is provided with a network address translation (NAT) function that can be set dynamically to avoid address duplication due to virtual machine migration. Alternatively, each node included in the WAN is provided with a network virtualization function; and there are implemented a virtual network connected to a data center for including a virtual machine before migration, and a virtual network connected to a data center for including the virtual machine after migration, thereby allowing coexistent provision of identical addresses. Thus, the need for changing network routing information at the time of virtual machine migration can be eliminated, and a setting change for migration accomplished quickly.

Such a load monitoring apparatus comprises a measured value storage unit which stores both measured values and measurement time of performance information (for example, a queue length, a response time and the like) of each information processing apparatus; a fluctuation calculation unit which reads a plurality of measured values measured in a given time from the measured value storage unit for each information processing apparatus, and calculates a fluctuation of the plurality of measured values; and a load state judgment unit which compares the fluctuation calculated with a given threshold to judge the load state of each information processing apparatus. Using a fluctuation, the load state of an information processing apparatus in the network can be detected more accurately.

Power management method for information platform

There is a need for applying an appropriate QoS setting to a complex information platform apparatus capable of flexibly changing an apparatus configuration so as to ensure an intra-apparatus communication band and realize management communication independence. Multiple processing modules are combined to construct one or more processing units with different apparatus types. An apparatus template management table prepares multiple levels of setting specifications with different ensured bands for intra-apparatus communication corresponding to each apparatus type. One set of setting specification is selected from multiple levels of setting specifications prepared for an apparatus type settled at the time of configuration setting. A QoS setting management table is generated based on the selected setting specification. When the configuration is set or changed, setting verification means verifies whether or not a total of ensured bands associated with each adapter is within an allowable range. When a result is negative, the setting specification is automatically changed to another provided with a smaller ensured band. A verified setting is distributed from the QoS setting management table to an IO switch and each adapter.

A method is provided for efficiently managing the connection of processor modules and input/output interface modules at a drastically reduced cost. A management server searches IFT and ST tables after receiving an instruction from the system management server to connect an input/output interface module to a processor, creates a condition list requested by the input/output interface module, and selects an input/output interface matching the condition list JL from an unassigned input/output interface module management table UNT. The management server next instructs the input/output interface switch to connect the processor with the selected input/output interface. The management server instructs the input/output device management server and the network management server to setup a connection utilizing the selected input/output interface, and rewrites the tables UNT and SPT.
