An electrified vehicle includes a motor, a clutch, a transmission, a rotational speed sensor configured to detect a rotational speed of the motor, and a control circuit configured to control the motor. The control circuit performs: a learning process of detecting a change in the rotational speed of the motor by the rotational speed sensor when the shift change is performed; and a control process of controlling the rotational speed of the motor based on the change in the rotational speed detected in the learning process, when the shift change is performed after the learning process.

An unusual-noise determination device for a vehicle that performs unusual-noise determination to determine whether a power transmission system of the vehicle is generating unusual noise. The unusual-noise determination device includes an execution device and a memory device. The memory device stores a neural network that uses the maximum sound pressure and the excess ratio as inputs, and outputs a determination result variable, which is a variable indicating a result of the unusual-noise determination. The neural network is a trained neural network that has been trained using various values related to each of multiple vehicles as training data. The execution device is configured to perform the unusual-noise determination based on an output of the trained neural network that uses, as inputs, the maximum sound pressure and the excess ratio.

Unusual-noise determination device for vehicle

In an internal combustion engine having a cylinder in which an air-fuel mixture of gaseous fuel and intake air is combusted, an intake passage connected to the cylinder, and a supercharger for supercharging the intake air, in a case where backfire is generated in a set period before supercharging is performed by the supercharger, supercharging is performed at a smaller supercharging pressure than in a case where backfire is not generated in the set period.

Control device of internal combustion engine

A control device as a noise estimation device is applied to a vehicle including an internal combustion engine as a power source and a transmission as a power transmission mechanism. The control device is provided with a storage device that stores mapping data, which is data that defines a mapping learned by machine learning, and a CPU as an execution unit. When variables on an output of the power source and variables indicating a state of the power transmission mechanism are input as input variables, the mapping outputs, as output variables, variables indicating a sensory level of noise caused when rattling sound generated by the operation of the power transmission mechanism is transmitted to a cabin of the vehicle. The CPU estimates the sensory level based on the values of the output variables output from the mapping by inputting the values of the input variables into the mapping.

A vehicle control apparatus including: a storage portion configured to store therein a vehicle control software for controlling a vehicle; an updating portion configured to update the vehicle control software stored in the storage portion, to an update software, and an operation check portion configured, when the update software is stored in the storage portion, to make an operation check as to whether the vehicle operates normally or not, by executing processing of the update software on condition that the vehicle is in a vehicle stopped state in which the vehicle is suppressed from being moved in forward and reverse directions. Because an EOP starts operating from when a decrease in discharge flow rate of an MOP is predicted or detected, a PL actual pressure that should be obtained with a PL command pressure set to a value for a required transmission torque is more easily maintained even when the discharge flow rate of the MOP becomes insufficient. After a lapse of a predetermined period of time from the start of operation of the EOP, the PL command pressure is temporarily set to a value higher than the value for the required transmission torque, and a regulator valve is controlled to operate to close a drain port. Therefore, the operation of the EOP in a high PL actual pressure is reduced, and a delay in response of a pressure regulating operation of the regulator valve in the process of reduction of the discharge flow rate of the MOP is reduced.

When a noise generation duration time predicted by a prediction unit is equal to or less than a predetermined time and it is predicted that generation of noise can be further curbed in comparison with a case in which the noise generation duration time in which noise is generated is relatively short and the noise generation duration time is greater than the predetermined time, an engine operating point control unit controls an engine and a differential unit such that an engine operating point reaches an engine operating point in an optimal fuel-efficiency operating line and thus it is possible to curb generation of noise and to curb a decrease in fuel efficiency.
