The present invention provides a lens barrel having an optical system capable of change of a focal length, comprising: a diaphragm device which controls a light amount of light incident to the optical system and passing to an image forming surface; and an open F value varying device which is provided separately from the diaphragm device, controls a light amount of the light incident to the optical system and passing to the image forming surface and varies an open F value by limiting the light amount so that the open F value becomes a value according to a focal length of the optical system when the light amount which is controllable by the diaphragm device is at the maximum.

Lens barrel

An anti-vibration controller having an ON/OFF switch for the anti-vibration is arranged on the outer circumference of a fixed lens barrel where extender lenses are positioned. When to manipulate the ON/OFF switch, a cameraperson manually operates a focusing ring with the little and ring fingers, a zooming ring with the middle finger and an iris ring with the index finger, all of the left hand. Then he or she can manipulate the ON/OFF switch of the anti-vibration controller fitted to the outer circumference of the fixed lens barrel with the unengaged thumb without having to move the fingers away from manipulating rings.

Vibration-proof lens device

The vibration proof adapter is arranged between a lens and a camera. Indicators for indicating an ON/OFF status of a vibration proof function are provided on both of the right and left sides of the vibration proof adapter, and the indicators can be checked by a cameraperson with looking at a view finder. Each indicator is retractably provided in a body housing, and a lamp is rotatably provided at the tip of an arm. The arm is made to stand up at the time of image pickup, and is used with turning the screen of the lamp toward the cameraperson. Even if the cameraperson does not move a look from the view finder, the cameraperson can check the lighting status of lamp. Moreover, a cavity for containing the indicator is formed on the periphery of the vibration proof adapter, and the indicator is retracted in the cavity at the time of retraction.

Vibration proof adapter

The lens supporting device has an anti-vibration adapter placed between a lens device and a camera and including a correction lens for compensating image shaking caused by vibrations applied to the camera, and a lens supporter for supporting the anti-vibration adapter and the camera on a pedestal, and is capable of supporting the lens device with stability even when used with the anti-vibration adapter being attached to the lens supporter by providing the supporting member attached to the attaching part provided at the lens device and supporting the lens device. In the case with the anti-vibration adapter being attached to the lens supporter, the camera is firstly supported at a camera supporting part formed at the lens supporter through a pedestal adapter, and a screw of the lens supporter is fastened to a nut part of the anti-vibration adapter to support the anti-vibration adapter on the lens supporter. Next, a screw of the anti-vibration adapter is fastened to a nut part of the lens device to support the lens device on the anti-vibration adapter.

Lens supporting device

An EFP lens device is attached to a mount frame of a lens supporter, and an adapter-type vibration isolator is fixed to the back face of the mount frame. An ENG camera is attached to the back of the vibration isolator. The vibration isolator automatically checks information about the focal length of the attached lens device, information about an extender, etc. and adjusts the amplitude of the correcting lens according to the vibrations of the lens. A lens information setting switch is provided at the vibration isolator so that a user can freely enter and change the lens inherent information through the lens information setting switch. A vibration ON/OFF switch and a sensitivity setting means are provided at a manual control part.

Vibration isolator for TV camera

The lens device and the vibration-proof adapter include a lock mechanism with operational ease because a lock mechanism of a vibration-proof lens has a switch on a joint with a camera main body or a joint with the lens device. The lens device is connected by placing a hook, which is provided on a front end face of a camera main body, to a recess of a back end face. A slide pin is provided in the recess so as to slide, and is pressed inside by the hook. In synchronization with the slide pin pressed inside, a lock pin operates to move away from a holding member of a vibration-proof lens, and the vibration-proof lens is unlocked. The slide pin returns to an original protruding position to lock the vibration-proof lens again when the hook is detached from the recess.
