A working machine includes a machine body, a front wheel and a rear wheel provided apart from each other in a front-rear direction of the machine body. A working portion is provided between the front wheel and the rear wheel and includes a power source and a cutter blade capable of being rotated around a rotary shaft by the power source. An electrically driven vehicle includes a first electric motor, a second electric motor, a first power drive device, a second power drive device, a first heat sink, a second heat sink, a baffle member, a first air guide passage, and a second air guide passage. The baffle member closes a space defined between the first power drive device and the second power drive device at a first end and a second end of the space. The first air guide passage houses the first heat sink. The first air guide passage is provided between a first partition wall and the first power drive device. An electric saddled vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, a drive-wheel, a drum brake that brakes drive-wheel, and a swing unit that is swingably supported by vehicle body frame. The swing unit includes a drive motor configured separately from drive-wheel and a speed-reducing-mechanism that transmits power from the drive motor to the drive-wheel and has a wheel-drive-portion. The drive motor and speed-reducing-mechanism are arranged on a first-side, the drum brake is arranged on a second-side, and the wheel-drive-portion is arranged so that a distance of the wheel-drive-portion to a first-end-surface of the drive-wheel is shorter than a distance of the wheel-drive-portion to a center of vehicle in the left-right-direction, and a brake drum of the drum brake is arranged at position where the brake drum overlaps a second-end-surface of the drive-wheel in plan view.

A battery mounting structure for use on saddle-type electric vehicles which contributes to an increase in the rigidity of a vehicle body frame and attempts to achieve an increased battery carrying capability. Each of battery modules is in the form of a quadrangular prism having long sides and short sides as viewed in plan and vertical sides longer than the long sides. A vehicle frame includes a bulging region in which each of main frames bulges outwardly from a head pipe as viewed in plan and a narrow region in which the distance between the main frames is reduced behind the bulging region. The battery modules include battery modules whose long sides extend along transverse directions of the vehicle in the bulging region and battery modules whose long sides extend along longitudinal directions of the vehicle in the narrow region.

A rear wheel suspension device of a motorcycle has rear end portions of an upper arm member and a lower arm rotatably joined to a knuckle member, which pivotally supports a rear wheel. The rear wheel suspension device can obtain a progressive cushion property while avoiding an increase in the number of parts. At the same time, the rear wheel suspension device can make the acquisition of extra rigidity of the vehicle body frame unnecessary. One end of a rear cushion unit is joined to one of an upper arm member and a lower arm member. A rear end portion of another of the upper arm member and the lower arm member is rotatably joined to a knuckle member in front of a rear wheel support portion of the knuckle member. Another end of the rear cushion unit is joined to one of another arm member and knuckle member.

A throttle sensor mounting structure for suppressing the influence on the arrangement of a lighting device located on the front side of a head pipe. A throttle sensor mounting structure in a saddle seat type vehicle includes a handle, a throttle grip rotatably mounted on the handle, a throttle sensor for detecting an operational amount of the throttle grip, a controller for controlling a power unit according to a detection value from the throttle sensor, a pair of right and left main frames extending to the rear from a head pipe, and a headlight provided on the front side of the head pipe. The throttle sensor is located on the rear side of the head pipe and between the right and left main frames so as to be superimposed on the main frames as viewed in a side elevation.

A drive wheel is intermediation driven by an additional element, while achieving a reduction in cost by making use of a plurality of existing motors. A drive motor as a drive source includes a plurality of motor bodies arranged coaxially with and adjacently to each other in the vehicle width direction to permit integral driving thereof, and is disposed forwardly of a pivot for a swing arm supporting the driving wheel. One end in the vehicle width direction of a drive shaft of the drive motor is made to be an output end for output to the driving wheel, and a drive sprocket for power transmission to the driving wheel is provided at the output end. The center of the drive motor in the vehicle width direction is disposed with an offset to the side opposite to the side of the drive sprocket with reference to the vehicle body center.

A battery housing structure, in an electric vehicle, is operable to regulate a temperature of a battery disposed between front and rear wheels of the vehicle. The battery housing structure includes a main housing body for receiving the battery, inlet and outlet ports for respectively supplying air to and discharging air from the main housing body; and a fan for discharging air from the main housing body. A bypass passage is provided in the battery housing structure for selectively connecting a downstream side of the fan with the inlet ports. First and second air flow control valves are also provided in the battery housing structure for selectively controlling and routing the flow of air within the battery housing structure.

An electric motorcycle is provided that can air-cool a power drive unit without the provision of a plurality of cooling fans. In an electric vehicle in which a battery box housing batteries is disposed below a foot rest space and electricity supplied from the batteries is supplied to a running-purpose power-generating motor via a power drive unit, the power drive unit is attached to a swing arm turning around a pivot shaft and the battery box is formed with an air introduction port and an air discharge port used to cool the batteries. A cooling fan is provided which sucks air in the battery box from the air discharge port and sends the air toward the power drive unit. The cooling fan is disposed rearward of the air discharge port of the battery box and close to the pivot shaft.

To realize the reduction of weight of a power transmission device by overcoming a drawback that an excessively large rotational torque is transmitted to a power transmission path and to sufficiently suppress the generation of a change of a rotational speed by overcoming a drawback that phases between one universal joint and another universal joint are displaced from each other. A damper mechanism is provide in the course of a power transmission path from an engine to a final reduction gear. The damper mechanism transmits a torque from the engine until the torque arrives at a predetermined value and prevents the transmission of a torque that exceeds the predetermined value.

A rear wheel suspension for a motorcycle can sufficiently ensure the stroke of a rear cushion and can enhance traveling performance of a vehicle by lowering the gravity center of the vehicle. A swing arm includes an upper arm swingably connecting a body frame with the upper portion of a power transmission portion. A lower arm swingably connects the body frame with the lower portion of the power transmission portion. The axial center of the upper end support portion of a rear cushion is swingably supported by the upper arm at a position forward of the axial center of the support portion. The axial center of the lower support portion of the rear cushion can swingably be supported by the lower arm at a position rearward of the axial center of the support portion swingably supporting the lower arm and the body frame with respect to the vehicle.

A fuel tank is provided for a motorcycle having a main body part and a downward swelling part that is opened upward and attached to a bottom part of the fuel tank. The inside of the downward swelling part is connected to the inside of the main body part, thereabove. A fuel pump is provided having a suction part disposed in the downward swelling element and a portion above the suction part installed in the main body part of the fuel tank. A fuel retaining member is also provided in the downward swelling part, whereby fuel retained by the fuel retaining member is sucked by the suction part.
