A motorcycle having an external appearance rich in change without increased cost. A front-side side cover has first edge parts adjoining a body frame. Portions of the first edge parts are in approximately the same position in a vehicle width direction as outermost faces of an outer surface of the body frame adjoined to outermost faces of outer surfaces of the portions. The remaining portion of the first edge parts is inside the outermost face of the outer surface of the body frame adjoined to the outermost face of an outer surface of the remaining portion.

Motorcycle

A motorcycle having a grab bar with sufficient attachment strength and rigidity, minimum wall thickness and size and no deterioration in external appearance. The grab bar has a grab section to be grabbed by a rider and attachment sections to be attached to left and right seat rails. This invention provides a joint connector which keeps connector housings in parallel in its temporary setting condition so as to eliminate a joining failure and prevent an abnormal load from being applied on a tab. A joint connector is combined in plural stages by overlapping a front surface ( ) with a back surface ( ). In a temporarily placed state before connector housings ( ) of the joint connector are combined, a combining projection portion ( ) formed on the front surface ( ) comes into contact with an opening peripheral edge portion of a combining projection portion fitting hole ( ) on the back surface ( ). Further, in the temporarily placed state, respective connector temporarily engaging surfaces ( ) of a front surface rear lock member ( ) on the front surface ( ) and a back surface rear lock member ( ) on the back surface ( ) come into contact with each other. Each of the connector housings ( ) keeps a parallel state in accordance with each of these contacts. The present invention aims to provide a crimp connector wherein a crimp contact inserted in a connector housing,can surely be fixed to the proper position and thereby contact reliability can be enhanced in the case of being connected with a coupling connector. According to the crimp connector,of the present invention, since a protrusion,formed on the crimp contact,is bent after having inserted the crimp contact into a contact slot,, the crimp contact can be surely fixed to the proper position. Therefore, not only can contact reliability be enhanced in the case of being connected with a coupling connector, but also a misoperation can be excluded during crimp-connecting an electric wire W with a crimp punch. Moreover, since a receiving stand which is an integral part of a connector housing can be utilized during bending a protrusion, a shape of the bent protrusion may be uniform, holding force of the crimp contact may be increased, and any chance of a fracture by unusual deformation can be eliminated.

The present connector is a lever fitting type connector,that, by rotating a lever (,), a male connector (,) can be inserted and fitted into a fitting hood portion (,) of a female connector portion (,), while a lock arm,disposed in the lever (,) can be engaged with a lock portion (,) formed in the fitting hood portion (,). Thanks to this structure, when the lock-arm-(,)-side securing projection (,) goes beyond the lock-portion-(,)-side securing projection (,), the reduced thickness plate portion (,) once flexes greatly and thereafter returns back to its original shape, with the result that an operation sound generated when the male connector (,) is locked into the fitting hood portion (,) of the female connector portion (,) can be made louder, thereby being able to enhance the sense of moderation of the connector.

A lever fitting connector for connecting electrical members includes a female connector having a hood-like outer peripheral wall, a male connector fitted into the female connector and an operation lever body pivotally supported on an outer face of a side wall of the male connector. An engaging projection is provided at one end of the operation lever body, for engaging with the outer peripheral wall of the female connector. An operation portion is provided at the other end of the operation lever body. A cooperation lever is supported pivotally on the outer face of the side wall of the male connector. One end of the cooperation lever is connected with the operation lever body, and an engaging projection is placed at the other end thereof. When the operational portion of the operation lever is pressed, the engaging projection of the operation lever is pivotally moved about a portion where the engaging projection is engaged with the outer peripheral wall. Similarly, the cooperation lever is pivotally moved about a portion where the engaging projection of the cooperation lever is engaged with the outer peripheral wall of the female connector. As a result, the male connector is fitted into the female connector.
