A stator includes a hollow cylindrical stator core comprised of a plurality of stator core segments and an outer cylinder fitted on the radially outer surface of the stator core. The stator core has a recess formed in the radially outer surface and the recess has an engaging wall surface that extends in both the axial and radial directions of the stator core. The outer cylinder has a fastening portion for fastening the outer cylinder to the stator core. The fastening portion is formed to be partially surrounded by a plurality of first slits and a second slit. The fastening portion is bent radially inward to have a second slit-side end part thereof received in the recess of the stator core. Further, the second slit-side end part of the fastening portion has a distal end engaging with the engaging wall surface of the recess of the stator core.

Stator for rotating electric machine

A stator includes a ring-shaped stator core having a plurality of slots arranged in a circumferential direction and a stator coil wound around the slots. The stator coil disposed within the slots is fixed by an impregnating material applied from an inner peripheral side of the stator core. An innermost-diameter coil wire of the stator coil positioned on the innermost-diameter side within the slots is provided with a first angle section that is angled towards an outward core-diameter direction side from a center section in a core-axis direction towards one end side, and a second angle section that is angled towards the outward core-diameter direction side from the center section in the core-axis direction towards another end side. The center section in the core-axis direction of the innermost-diameter coil wire projects towards an inward core-diameter direction side.

A stator for an electric rotating machine includes a stator core that has slots, a stator coil, and an impregnant applied to the inner surface of the stator core. The stator core has a plurality of teeth that divide the slots. Teeth having chamfered surfaces between a projected tip surface and each side surface of the teeth and teeth without chamfered surfaces are intermingled. At least one bent corner part formed at an end of the projected tip surface of the teeth is formed in an arcuate surface. Stator for electric rotating machine and method for manufacturing the same

When accommodating a cage stator coil in a stator core made up of distributed cores, an end side distributed core composing end side core at an end side in axial direction is made larger than a central side distributed core composing central side core. The cage stator coil is formed by compressing a central portion of an original cage stator coil. The end side segment core composing the end core is set at a central portion in an axial direction of the cage stator coil then the end side coil is moved to an end portion in the axial direction. The central side segment core composing the central core is set at the central portion in the axial direction of the cage stator coil thereafter.

Segment-core type stator for inner-rotor type rotary electric machines and an improved method for manufacturing the stator

A method of manufacturing a stator coil including shaping a plurality of shaped bodies from electric conductor wires; combining the shaped bodies to form a combined body; and winding the combined body around a core member to form a wound body. The shaped body includes a plurality of parallel straight portions extending along a longitudinal direction of the combined body, and a plurality of turn portions connecting straight portions at ends of the straight portions in an alternating manner. Each of the shaped bodies includes a plurality of straight overlap sections. The wound body includes a plurality of straight laminated sections formed from the plurality of straight overlap sections laminated in a radial direction. Pre-orientation members are inserted respectively into consecutive clearances formed between adjacent straight overlap sections during the winding step, so overlap of the straight portions in the straight overlap section caught between said pre-orientation members is aligned.

Method of assembling split core type stator of inner rotor type rotary electric machine

A first tool set holds a wire covered with an insulation film at a bending point of the wire to protrude the wire from the first tool set. A second tool set holds the protruded portion of the wire. The second tool set is rotated about the first tool set to bend the wire along a wall of the first tool set and to form a boundary corner in the wire at the same radius of curvature as the wall. The wire is released from the second tool set and is moved to place the first tool set at another bending point while protruding from the first tool set. The second tool set is placed at the protruded portion of the wire. When the wire is bent at a predetermined number of bending points and is rounded, a stator coil formed in a corrugated shape is manufactured.
