A terminal connecting body of a terminal metal fitting includes: a first engaging part and a second engaging part on one end side and another end side, respectively, that engage each other movements of an end of the one end side and an end of the other end side in separating directions; has a first gap formed between the first engaging part and the end of the other end side, that allows the end and the other end in directions opposite to the separating directions; and has a second gap formed therein, between the second engaging part and the end of the one end side, that enables the end and the other end in similar opposite directions. The first gap and the second gap are formed so that the first engaging part can be inserted into a notch provided on the other end side while being bent from its base.

Terminal metal fitting

A connector includes a rib provided in a male terminal housing chamber of a male connector and configured to suppress a relative displacement of a male terminal to the male terminal housing chamber by being brought into contact with the male terminal and a rib provided in a female terminal housing chamber of a female connector and configured to suppress a relative displacement of a female terminal to the female terminal housing chamber by being brought into contact with the female terminal. The rib is formed so as to start to come into contact with the male terminal at a tab exit port side position than a position where a required insertion force becomes maximum. The rib is formed so as to start to come into contact with the female terminal at a tab insertion port side position than a position where the required insertion force becomes maximum.

Connector

Angle maintaining meansprevent the bending members from being bent too far so that the interior member is not compressed too much.

Interior illumination lamp having improved retaining mechanism

The present invention is to provide a lighting apparatus with compact size. The lighting apparatus includes a housing receiving an electric bulb and a pair of busbars. The pair of the busbars each include an electrode connection portion and an electrical cable connection portion. The electrode connection portion is connected to an electrode of the electric bulb. The electrical cable connection portion interconnects the electrode connection portion and a flat cable. The electrical cable connection portion is bent at a right angle at a connection portion thereof with the electrode connection portion and extends in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the electrode connection portion and is disposed on exterior surface of a rear end portion of the housing.

Lighting apparatus

A room lamp which is cost effective and simple. The room lamp has a design part and a function part, the design part being secured with a lens in a housing attachable to an opening defined in an interior finish material of a vehicle, and the function part being disposed at a side of a rear face of the interior finish material in that the function part is supported by the design part, and having a light source. Clips are provided in the housing for temporarily securing the design part at predetermined positions. Projections project from the edge part of the opening along the rear face of the interior finish material. The housing and the projections hold the interior finish material.

Room lamp

An LED illumination device includes LED lamp modulescoupled in a vertical direction. Each of said LED lamp modulesincludes a base, a bus bar circuitformed on the base, and a coverconnected to the baseto cover the bus bar circuit. A locking frame(coupling portion) to be coupled with the upper LED lamp moduleis formed on said base. A locking arm(mating coupling portion) to be coupled with said locking frameon the baseof the lower LED lamp moduleis formed on said cover. LED illumination device

An opening is formed through a roof trim of a vehicle, and a design part of an interior illumination lamp is mounted in this opening. Self-holding-purpose retaining lock piece portions are formed integrally on an opposite surface of a lens which forms part of the design part. A light shielding layer is formed on those portions of the lens corresponding respectively to the retaining lock piece portions.

Illumination lamp for interior vehicle

A lamp unit mounting structure includes a mounting panel having a mounting portion, a lamp unit, an elastic fixing member and a restricting member. The elastic fixing member is provided on the lamp unit, and includes a first portion which is extended from the lamp unit, a second portion which has a substantially U-shape, and has a first end being integrally connected to the first portion, a third portion which is extended from a second end of the second portion toward the lamp unit. The engagement portion engages the mounting portion of the mounting panel. The restricting member is provided on the lamp unit, and restricts a movement of the elastic fixing member in a mounting and dismounting direction of the engagement portion relative to the mounting panel. The restricting member has an escape portion which allows a movement of the elastic fixing member toward the lamp unit.

Lamp unit mounting structure

Each of a plurality of LED lamp modules includes a base, an LED drive circuitry mounted on the base, and a cover coupled with the base to cover the LED drive circuitry. The LED lamp modules are stacked one on another. A single flat cable is extending through the LED lamp modules so as to have at least one first portion disposed outside the LED lamp modules and a plurality of second portions disposed inside the LED lamp modules to be electrically connected to the LED drive circuitry in each of the LED lamp modules. The first portion of the flat cable is sandwiched between the base of an upper one of the LED lamp modules and the cover of a lower one of the LED lamp modules.

LED illuminator

A connection portion () of an FFC () to be preliminarily arranged on a roof trim () is weld-fixed to cable connecting portions () of a bus bar () and a spring terminal () of a room lamp (). Simultaneously with the arrangement of the FFC () on a vehicle-body-panel-side portion of the roof trim, the room lamp () is mounted in the lamp mounting window.

Lamp unit assembling method and lamp unit mounting structure

Lever fitting type connector

This invention provides a substrate connector ( ) allowing mating terminals to be inserted into terminal accommodating chambers in the housing main body ( ) from one side or the other side and comprises an insertion guide portion ( ) provided around an installation opening ( ) in the housing main body ( ) and for guiding the mating terminals into the terminal accommodating chambers ( ) when inserting the mating terminals into the terminal accommodating chambers ( ) from the other side of the housing main body ( ).

Substrate connector

In a multi-pole connector formed by combining a plurality of connector housings together, a bolt and a bolt receiving tube are provided at first connector housing, and a frame portion is formed on the second connector housing. The connector housings are combined together, with the frame portion and the bolt receiving tube superimposed together coaxially with each other, so that a bolt guide, formed on a mating multi-pole connector for connection to the multi-pole connector, can be inserted into the frame portion and the bolt receiving tube.

Method of assembling multi-pole connector and multi-pole connector

A lever fitting type connector ( ) has a lever ( ) provided with a rotation fulcrum portion ( ), an application point portion ( ) and an operation portion ( ), which is interposed between a first connector ( ) and a second connector ( ). The rotation fulcrum portion ( ) of the lever ( ) is pivoted in a rotating manner to the first connector ( ). In a state that both of the connectors are separated, an initial mounting position of the lever ( ) is arranged substantially in parallel to a width direction of the first connector ( ). A positional relation among the rotation fulcrum portion ( ), the application point portion ( ) and the operation portion ( ) is constituted such that a fitting force is generated by an operation force in a drawing direction applied to the operation portion ( ). Accordingly, the connectors ( ) are regularly fitting.

A first connector has a rear end side supported by a part to be assembled. A second connector is to be fitted with the first connector to be mounted from a front end side thereof. The first connector and the second connector are electrically joined each other. The part to be assembled includes an engagement panel engaged with the first connector. The first connector includes a first connector body, and a rotary member for engagement which is supported to the first connector body by a supporting axis for a free end of the rotary member to project from a rear end face of the first connector body. The rotary member includes a rear engagement projection engaging with a back face of the engagement panel, and a front engagement projection engaging with a front face of the engagement panel. The front engagement projection is positioned to generate a tangential force for rotating the rotary member about the supporting axis when the second connector is fitted with the first connector.
