A washing tube of the present invention is a washing tube for supplying a washing and disinfecting fluid to an endoscope conduit of an endoscope placed in an endoscope washing and disinfecting apparatus, includes: a tube body, one end of which is connected to fluid supply sections of the endoscope washing and disinfecting apparatus for sending a fluid, a connector section disposed at the other end of the tube body and loosely and detachably fitted to a base of the endoscope conduit, a sealing member that is provided inside the connector section and comes into close contact with the base to keep the base and the connector section connected in a watertight manner, a valve body that moves forward by a liquid sending pressure of the supplied fluid and a biasing member provided inside the connector section for biasing the valve body backward.

Washing tube and endoscope washing and disinfecting apparatus

A direction of movement, an insertion amount and an insertion force amount at a time when an insertion section of an endoscope is inserted in a large intestine, which is an object of an inspection, are detected by detection unit. The direction of movement, the insertion amount and the insertion force amount of the insertion section are displayed on a display device which is separably disposed. Thereby, a high-precision insertion operation can simply and easily be realized, and a handling operability is improved.

In an endoscope, air/water feed pipe lines are arranged through an elongated insertion portion having an image pickup unit at its front end. An endoscope is provided that can reduce examination costs by realizing commonality of an operating unit by making an inserting unit and the operating unit attachable/detachable with respect to each other to enable the exchange of inserting units. The endoscope of this invention includes an operating unit, an inserting unit that can be detachably connected to the operating unit, and transmission and reception coils provided in the operating unit and the inserting unit, respectively, for sending and receiving signals in a non-contact manner between the operating unit and the inserting unit when the inserting unit is connected to the operating unit.

Then, an electromagnet disposed at the endoscope connection portion is excited so as to attract and fix the connector portion by a generated magnetic force.

There is provide an apparatus for washing and disinfecting an endoscope having a duct for detecting a water leakage, the duct having an opening to which a fitting is attached. The apparatus comprises a nozzle unit having a nozzle to supply a gas into the duct via the fitting in a case where the nozzle is inserted into the fitting and a base member holding the nozzle member. The apparatus further comprises a gas supplying unit capable of supplying the gas to the nozzle, a shifting unit capable of shifting the base member toward the fitting of the endoscope, and a controlling unit controlling drive of the shifting unit to shift the base toward the fitting and to drive of the gas supplying unit to allow the nozzle to blow the gas from before the nozzle reaches the fitting.

Method of supplying gas to medical instruments for water leakage examination

The endoscope has an elongated insertion portion, an operation portion provided at the rear end of the insertion portion, and a contact-less endoscope exterior body in which no electrical contact is exposed on the outer surface thereof including the insertion portion and the operation portion. Inside the endoscope exterior body, there are disposed an image pickup apparatus for picking up images and a signal processing portion for performing signal processing for the image pickup apparatus. The endoscope comprises a battery of a water-tight structure for supplying power for the image pickup apparatus and the signal processing portion, and a charging apparatus of a water-tight structure for charging the battery with power supplied in a contact-less fashion.

An endoscope system includes an endoscope having an image pickup device, a control unit, signal lines, a first earth electric wire, a light guide and a scope connector. The scope connector is formed by collecting a first electric contact, a first non-contact power transmitting portion serving as a non-contact electromagnetic induction and coupling device, a first non-contact signal transmitting portion, and a first illumination light transmitting portion. Endoscope system

A light source having a lamp for generating light generates a lamp on signal at an output terminal thereof when the lamp is lit. A lamp life meter is connected to the light source for detecting the time that the lamp has been lit. The lamp life meter includes a housing having at least one contact terminal adapted to be coupled to the output terminal of the light source, a clock generator located in the housing and generating clock signals, a counter located in the housing and counting the clock signals whenever the clock on signal indicates that the lamp is on and a display mounted in the housing for displaying an indication of the time the lamp has been turned on.
