A cutter for cutting an object to be cut has cutting edges for cutting the object to be cut, a holding member for holding the cutting edges, and a guide member for guiding the cutting edges so as to be along the object to be cut when the cutting edges are moved.

Cutter

An image processing apparatus in which the respective functional sections in the apparatus are clearly separated and constituted as units, thereby raising the productivity, and at the same time the maintenance for the reading optical system and for the jam processing of the sheets and the like can be easily performed. The enclosing space for the recording sheets discharged is built inside the casing, and the original base is also used as the cover for the recording system unit, thereby realizing a small and thin sized apparatus. Further, the heat generated from the power source unit and recording head can be easily radiated.

Image processing apparatus

This specification discloses a sheet material receiving device provided near the lower part of the sheet material discharging portion of an image forming apparatus such as a facsimile apparatus or a copying apparatus to receive sheet materials discharged from the image forming apparatus. The sheet material receiving device is provided with a first guide member against which the leading end of each discharged sheet bears and by which the sheet is directed downwardly, and a second guide member opposed to the first guide member and forming a sheet receiving space, and has a gripping portion for holding down the sheet material received in the sheet receiving space, or the first guide member is openable.
