A rotating electrical machine such that a power supply unit can be efficiently cooled, with no increase in size in an axial direction of the rotating electrical machine, is provided. A rotating electrical machine main body and a power supply unit are integrally fixed, and a refrigerant passage is provided on the rotating electrical machine main body side of a metal frame configuring the power supply unit. The refrigerant passage and a control part that controls power supplied to the rotating electrical machine main body are disposed in the same plane in an axial direction of the rotating electrical machine main body, and the refrigerant passage is disposed farther to a radial direction outer side of the rotating electrical machine main body than the control part.

An alternator according to the present invention includes: a shaft; a rotor that is fixed to the shaft; a stator that has a stator core that is disposed so as to surround an outer circumference of the rotor and in which a plurality of slots that extend axially are formed so as to be spaced apart circumferentially; and a front bracket and a rear bracket that hold circumferential edge portions of the stator core from two axial ends using a plurality of holding means and that envelope the stator core, a pair of first stays that are formed on the front bracket being fixed to a vehicle by bolts that penetrate through a pair of penetrating apertures that are respectively formed on the first stays, and the pair of penetrating apertures are formed at positions such that an approximate perpendicular bisector of a straight line that connects centers of the penetrating apertures intersects an axis of the shaft; and one of the holding means is disposed on the perpendicular bisector near the shaft. This configuration can prevent generation of magnetic noise without increasing weight in the brackets, in other words, without increasing overall weight.

The present invention provides a dynamoelectric machine that can reduce 12f vibrational force and suppress generation of irritating electromagnetic noise in a vicinity of 2,000 Hz in an idling state. In the present invention, an armature winding includes first and second three-phase windings, the first three-phase winding is configured by delta-connecting respective phase windings, and the second three-phase winding is configured so as to be Y-connected to the first three-phase winding by connecting respective phase windings in series to respective output ends of the first three-phase winding. The first and second three-phase windings are each installed in the stator core such that respective phase currents have a phase difference from each other. A stator core is configured by laminating and integrating thin magnetic plates, and has an outer circumferential surface that has a cylindrical surface, and receiving grooves are formed on inner circumferences of openings of frames. The receiving grooves are constituted by: an annular axial surface that is constituted by a flat surface that is perpendicular to a central axis of the stator core; and a radial surface that is constituted by a cylindrical surface that is centered around the central axis. Metal surfaces of the thin magnetic plates at two axial ends of the stator core are held between each of the axial surfaces of the pair of frames in a state of close contact around an entire circumference.

Respective divided segments of a collet are moved radially outward by moving an arbor axially. The respective divided segments thereby press an inner circumferential surface of a stator core of a stator from radially inside such that the stator is held coaxially by the collet. Next, shaping rollers are lowered so as to press an outer circumferential surface of the stator core. The stator is rotated by rotating the collet in that state. Thus, the inner circumferential surface of the stator core is compressed and plastically deformed so as to conform to the collet and the outer circumferential surface of the stator core is compressed and plastically deformed by the shaping rollers, correcting the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the stator core so as to be coaxial and so as to have a high degree of roundness.

A manufacturing method of a winding assembly of a rotating electrical machine using a rotation block and a fixed block and a manufacturing apparatus used for the same. The rotation block includes a rotation surface rotatable around a rotation axis, and the fixed block includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and a shaping surface. The shaping surface is formed between end parts of the first and the second surfaces, is made to have an almost semicircular shape with the rotation axis as the center, and extends along the rotation axis. There are proposed a manufacturing method of a winding assembly of a rotating electrical machine using a rotation block and a fixed block and a manufacturing apparatus used for the same. The rotation block includes a rotation surface rotatable around a rotation axis, and the fixed block includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and a shaping surface. The shaping surface is formed between end parts of the first and the second surfaces, is made to have an almost semicircular shape with the rotation axis as the center, and extends along the rotation axis. Plural wire rods are simultaneously fed from the first surface of the fixed block to the rotation surface of the rotation block, and the wire rods positioned on the rotation surface are bent by rotation of the rotation block.

Manufacturing apparatus for a winding assembly of a rotating electrical machine

An objective is to provide a pressure-contact type rectifier in which solder that increases the environmental load is not used, and neither burning nor breakage of a rectifying device occurs, even if temperature of the rectifying device increases due to current flowing or force towards outside the rectifying device is applied to a lead end, etc. By providing an electrically conductive friction reducer on at least one electrode face of the rectifying device, the temperature increase can be prevented, and the friction at the contact face can be reduced. Moreover, by providing a flexible portion on the lead end outside a cap, and fixing the flexible portion to the cap, the contact area between the lead and the rectifying device can be kept constant. As a result, a pressure-contact type rectifier in which neither burning nor breakage of the rectifying device occurs can be obtained.
