A lens barrel includes: a lens holding frame holding a lens; a mounting member to which the lens holding frame is mounted; an inclination regulating member regulating a position of the lens holding frame with respect to the mounting member, thereby regulating inclination of the lens holding frame with respect to an optical axis; and an eccentricity regulating member regulating the position of the lens holding frame with respect to said mounting member, thereby regulating eccentricity of the lens holding frame with respect to the optical axis, in which the eccentricity regulating member is supported by said inclination regulating member.

Lens barrel and image pickup apparatus

An image pickup apparatus includes an image-pickup optical system, three color separation prisms separating incident light guided by the image-pickup optical system into three-primary-color light components and emitting the light components, and three image pickup elements respectively receiving the three light components from the prisms so as to produce respective image signals. Of the three prisms, a first prism that first receives the incident light has an edge extending parallel to an incidence plane. The image-pickup optical system has a plate-like fixed aperture stop disposed between the first prism and a final lens, disposed closest to the first prism, of multiple lenses included in the image-pickup optical system. The fixed aperture stop has an aperture that limits the incident light. An edge section of the aperture has projections and depressions arranged at least in parallel to the edge, as viewed from an optical-axis direction of the final lens.

An imaging apparatus with an exposure controlling mechanism being made to define an iris aperture by moving iris blades on surfaces perpendicular to an optical axis, wherein the exposure controlling mechanism includes a first iris blade to which a first ND filter having at least two levels of transmissivity is attached, a second iris blade to which no ND filter is attached, and a third iris blade to which a second ND filter having a single transmissivity is attached, and the first to the third iris blades are made to differ respectively in amounts and phases of their displacements caused by an operation of a driving means.
