A strain gauge includes: a flexible substrate; a resistor formed on one side of the substrate; a pair of terminal parts electrically connected to both ends of the resistor; and a plurality of resistance value tuning wires configured to tune the resistance value between the pair of terminal parts. In this strain gauge, the plan shape of the resistor is a spiral shape formed by two linear resistance wires about the halfway part of the two linear resistance wires, the two linear resistance wires being a predetermined space apart from each other and extending in the same direction from the halfway part, and the resistance value tuning wires are arranged discretely so as to bridge between the two linear resistance wires.

Strain gauge

A strain gauge includes a flexible resin substrate and a resistor formed of a film that includes Cr, CrN, and CrN, the resistor being situated on or above the substrate. A film thickness of the resistor is greater than or equal to 100 nm and less than or equal to 700 nm.

A strain gauge includes a flexible substrate and a resistor formed of material including at least one of chromium or nickel, the resistor being situated above the substrate. The strain gauge includes a functional layer formed of an insulating material that has a higher thermal conductivity than the resistor, the functional layer being situated between the substrate and the resistor. The resistor includes multiple resistive patterns that are juxtaposed. The resistor includes folded portions each of which connects end portions of resistive portions that are next to each other. A first metallic layer formed of a material that has a higher thermal conductivity than the resistor is laminated on the folded portions.

A rolling bearing includes an outer ring having a predetermined rotation axis; an inner ring disposed coaxially with the outer ring and situated on an inner peripheral side of the outer ring; multiple rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring; and a strain gauge disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring or an inner peripheral surface of the inner ring. The strain gauge includes three or more detector elements that are disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring or the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring, and the three or more detector elements include at least two detector elements at different locations in a circumferential direction of the outer ring or the inner ring, the at least two detector elements being situated at different locations in a direction of the rotation axis.

Rolling bearing

A rolling bearing includes an outer ring, an inner ring disposed coaxially with the outer ring, the inner ring being on an inner peripheral side of the outer ring. The rolling bearing includes multiple rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. The rolling bearing includes a strain gauge configured to detect strain of the outer ring or the inner ring. The strain gauge includes a resistor formed of a Cr composite film.

The present vital sensor is a vital sensor configured to monitor a blood flow, and includes a strain generator to be attached to a measurement site in a subject, and a strain gauge disposed on the strain generator. The strain gauge includes three or more resistors. With a first direction being a direction in which a blood vessel extends in the measurement site and a second direction being a direction orthogonal to the first direction, the strain generator is attached to the measurement site so that positions of at least three of the resistors in the first direction are different from each other, and the positions of the at least three of the resistors in the second direction are different from each other.

Vital sensor

A strain gauge includes a flexible substrate; a resistor made from a film containing Cr, CrN, and Cr2N, on one surface of the substrate; and a resin barrier layer covering the resistor, and, in this strain gauge, in the barrier layer, a ratio of a moisture permeability (g/m2/24h) to a thickness (mm) is 5:1 or greater, and the thickness of the barrier layer is 100 μm or more and 3 mm or less.

A battery pack includes a battery, a sensor configured to detect a state of the battery. The sensor includes an insulating layer, and a resistor on one side of the insulating layer, the resistor being formed of a Cr composite film. The sensor detects the state of the battery as a change in a resistance value of the resistor.

A sensor module includes a first strain gauge including a first resistor, a second strain gauge including a second resistor, and a flexure element. The first strain gauge has the same characteristic as the second strain gauge. The first strain gauge and the second strain gauge are respectively disposed toward the same surface of the flexure element, via layers each of which has a different linear expansion coefficient.

Sensor module and strain detecting device

A tactile sensor includes a support member with a curved surface, a sensor body disposed on the support member, and a buffer member with which the sensor body is coated, the buffer member being configured to, in response to contacting an object, transfer a force applied from the object to the sensor body. The sensor body includes an insulating layer, multiple first resistive portions of which a longitudinal direction is directed to a first direction of each and that are juxtaposed on one side of the insulating layer, multiple second resistive portions of which a longitudinal direction of each is directed to a second direction intersecting with the first direction and that are juxtaposed on another side of the insulating layer, and a pair of electrodes provided at both end portions of each of the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions. The press force applied from the object is transferred to the sensor body, and at least one given resistive portion among the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions is pressed, so that a resistance value between a given pair of electrodes associated with the pressed at least one given resistive portion among the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions constantly varies in accordance with a magnitude of the press force.

Tactile sensor

The present strain gauge includes a substrate having flexibility; and a resistor formed from a material containing at least one of chromium and nickel, on the substrate, wherein a first substance having a function of preventing crystal grains as the main component of the resistor from cohering, is added to the resistor.

An accelerator is an automobile accelerator. The accelerator includes a sensor configured to detect a force to press the accelerator. The sensor includes a flexible substrate and a resistor formed of a film containing Cr, CrN, and CrN, on or above the substrate. The sensor is configured to detect the force to press the accelerator as a change in a resistance value of the resistor.

Accelerator, steering wheel, six-axis sensor, engine, bumper and the like

A strain gauge includes a flexible substrate, and a resistor formed of material containing at least one from among chromium and nickel, on or above the substrate. The resistor includes a first layer that is a lowermost layer; and a second layer that is a surface layer laminated on or above the first layer. The second layer is a layer having a higher density than the first layer. The first layer has a first surface provided on a side where the flexible resin substrate is situated, the functional layer being laminated on the first surface. The first layer has a second surface on which the second layer is laminated.

Strain gauge with improved stability and stress reduction

A strain gauge includes a flexible substrate and a functional layer formed of a metal, an alloy, or a metal compound, the functional layer being directly on one surface of the substrate. The strain gauge includes a resistor formed of a film that includes Cr, CrN, and CrN and that is formed with &#x3b1;-Cr as a main component. The functional layer includes a function of promoting crystal growth of &#x3b1;-Cr and forming an &#x3b1;-Cr based film.

A strain gauge includes a flexible resin substrate; a functional layer formed of a metal, an alloy, or a metal compound, directly on one surface of the substrate; a resistor formed of a film including Cr, CrN, and CrN, on one surface of the functional layer; and an insulating resin layer with which the resistor is coated.
