A method for wireless communication by a wireless device includes receiving a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence from an upper layer of a wireless communication protocol stack. The first bit sequence is assigned a first class and the second bit sequence is assigned a second class. The second bit sequence is included in a same medium access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU) as the first bit sequence. The method also includes processing, at a physical layer, the first bit sequence with a first quality of service (QoS) level, and the second bit sequence with a second QoS level that is different from the first QoS level.

Radio access network (RAN) enhancement for unequal error protection (UEP)

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a default value for a radio parameter used for communicating with a network node based at least in part on whether the network node is a terrestrial network (TN) node or a non-terrestrial network (NTN) node, an orbit type associated with the network node, or a coverage type associated with the network node. Non-terrestrial network default value configuration

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a group discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration. The UE may receive, based on the group DRX configuration, a notification communication indicative of group handover information associated with a group of UEs that includes the UE. The UE may perform, based on the group handover information, a group handover operation between a source cell and a target cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

Group handover configurations

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling that includes an indication of a configuration for wireless communications with a wireless device using a first operating band of a radio frequency spectrum band. The first operating band may include a first carrier that is paired with a second carrier of the first operating band. The first carrier may be separated in frequency from the second carrier and used for one of transmissions from the UE or receptions at the UE, while the second carrier may be used for both transmissions from the UE and receptions at the UE. The UE may use the second carrier for both transmissions and receptions using time division duplexing (TDD) according to the configuration. The UE may concurrently communicate messages with the wireless device using the first carrier and the second carrier.

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for a signaling mechanism associated with activating a secondary cell (SCell) for uplink control information (UCI), including under circumstances in which the SCell is deactivated and belongs to a timing advance group (TAG) lacking a valid timing advance (TA) value. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) and one or more components of a network entity may employ a signaling mechanism for establishing an SCell as a PUCCH-SCell in scenarios in which the PUCCH-SCell belongs to a secondary TAG (sTAG) lacking a valid TA value. The signaling mechanism may include signaling to directly provide the network entity with beam measurement information associated with one or more SCells of the sTAG or may include singling that the network entity may use to derive the beam measurement information associated with the one or more SCells of the sTAG.

Techniques for secondary cell establishment for uplink control information
