A printing apparatus includes a printing part configured to perform printing on a recording medium in which a label is attached to a backing sheet, transport rollers configured to sandwich and transport the recording medium, a peeling member configured to peel off the label from the backing sheet by bending the recording medium, and a tensioner configured to apply a tension in a direction opposite to a transport direction of the recording medium transported by the transport rollers to the recording medium, wherein, in the transport direction, the transport rollers are positioned downstream of the peeling member, and the tensioner is positioned upstream of the peeling member.

A label printer includes a print head, a transporting roller, a peeling roller, and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls a current value to be supplied to a peeling motor configured to rotate the peeling roller such that a transport force of the peeling roller for transporting the backing sheet is equal to or greater than a minimum force required for peeling the label and is greater than a maximum friction force between the peeling roller and the backing sheet, and the maximum friction force and a maximum friction force between the transporting roller and the label sheet are set such that the maximum friction force between the peeling roller and the backing sheet is equal to or smaller than a transport force of the peeling roller that sets a transport error of the label sheet by the transporting roller to be within an acceptable value.

A label printer includes a print head configured to perform printing on a label sheet, a transporting roller configured to transport the label sheet downstream, a peeling roller configured to transport a backing sheet in a direction different from a travelling direction of a label to peel the label from the backing sheet, and a control unit configured to control rotation of the transporting roller and rotation of the peeling roller, wherein a maximum friction force between the transporting roller and the label sheet are set such that the maximum friction force between the peeling roller and the backing sheet is not greater than a transport force of the peeling roller so as to make a transport error of the label sheet by the transporting roller within an acceptable value.

A winding device includes a winding shaft that rotates and winds a print medium conveyed from a printing device having a conveyance roller that conveys the print medium, a gear, and a motor driving the conveyance roller and the gear. The winding device also includes a power transfer mechanism to connect to the gear and transfer power to the motor, and a lever disposed between the winding shaft and the conveyance roller in a conveyance path in a configuration in which the winding device is connected to the printing device. The lever may be moved between a first position in which the print medium bends and a second position in which the print medium bends at a shallower angle than at the first position.

Winding device and print winding system

A peeling device includes a driving roller that transports backing paper and a drive transmission mechanism that transmits driving force from a driving motor to the driving roller. The peeling device also includes a peeling plate (a peeling portion) located between the driving roller, and a printhead and platen (a printing section) in a transport path of the backing paper, and bends the transport path. The drive transmission mechanism includes a first torque limiter and a second torque limiter. The drive transmission mechanism changes to a first state in which the first torque limiter is included between the driving roller and the driving motor in a transmission system of the driving force or a second state in which the second torque limiter is included therebetween.

Swinging open the upstream-side cover part () and downstream-side cover part () of the check scanning apparatus () on a common support pivot () opens a U-shaped check transportation path (). The check transportation path () can be opened with a simple single-action operation to remove checks () jammed in the check transportation path () and for maintenance of the magnetic head () and contact image sensors (and). When the task is completed, the open check transportation path () can also be returned to the original closed position by a simple single-action operation. If only those parts that require maintenance are exposed when the check transportation path is open, tasks that require opening the transportation path can be done without damaging other parts and without soiling the operator's fingers.

Check processing device

A recording apparatus is provided. A recording head performs recording on a recording medium. A conveyance roller conveys the recording medium in a conveyance direction. A conveyance path includes a curved portion which guides the recording medium and curves the recording medium in a downstream of a nip portion between the recording head and the conveyance roller in the conveyance direction. A discharge portion discharges the recording medium. A detecting unit is located apart from the conveyance path. The detecting unit detects the recording medium which deviates from the conveyance path as the recording medium is drawn into and along the conveyance roller near the curved portion of the conveyance path. A controller rotates the conveyance roller backwards by a predetermined amount to convey the recording medium backwards when the recording medium is detected by the detecting unit, and then rotates the conveyance roller forwards by at least the predetermined amount.
