Provided is a power supply device, provided for a light source device which has a plurality of light-emitting bodies. The power supply device includes a circuit for controlling a current supplied to the light-emitting body. The power supply device also includes a control circuit for controlling a current from a power supply source, the control circuit being disposed at the central portion of the light source device. The power supply device additionally includes a cooling component capable of cooling surroundings by channeling a refrigerant, where the cooling component is provided on a back side of the light-emitting body. The power supply device also includes a heat transfer component connecting the cooling component and the control circuit to each other. The power supply device further includes an insulating component interposed between the heat transfer component and the control circuit at a state in contact with both.

Power supply device, photochemical reaction device and method in which same is used, and lactam production method

Provided is a photochemical reaction device wherein two partitions formed from an optically transparent material are arranged apart from each other between a light source and a reaction liquid, and an optically transparent fluid introduction/discharge means for introducing an optically transparent fluid between the partitions and discharging the fluid and a state change detection means for detecting a change in the state of the optically transparent fluid at the discharge side of the optically transparent fluid introduction/discharge means are provided. Also provided are a photochemical reaction method that uses the photochemical reaction device and a lactam production method that uses the photochemical reaction method. The present invention prevents decreases in the performance of the light source even when the optically transparent material in the photochemical reaction device is damaged, and makes it possible to reliably prevent ignition even if the reaction liquid is a flammable liquid.

A method of producing a cycloalkanone oxime by a photochemical reaction of a cycloalkane with a photo nitrosating agent in a liquid by light irradiation includes irradiating the liquid with a light source configured to emit light satisfying conditions that, in an emission energy distribution with respect to wavelength of light, a wavelength providing a maximum value of emission energy is 550 nm to 700 nm and a continuous wavelength range including the wavelength providing the maximum value and outputting energy of or over 5% of the maximum value is equal to or less than 150 nm, wherein a ratio &#x3b7;E/V of a light irradiation energy &#x3b7;E out of electric power E input into the light source to a reaction volume V which is a volume of a space for the photochemical reaction of the cycloalkane with the photo nitrosating agent is equal to or greater than 5.5 w/L.

Method of producing cycloalkanone oxime

A method produces a cycloalkanone oxime by photonitrosation using light emitting diodes as the light source for the next generation that replaces an electric discharge lamp with, for example, mercury or sodium sealed therein. The method produces the cycloalkanone oxime by a photochemical reaction of a cycloalkane with a photo nitrosating agent in a liquid by light irradiation. The method uses a light source satisfying conditions that, in an emission energy distribution with respect to wavelength of the light source, a wavelength at which emission energy has a maximum value is in a range of 550 nm to 700 nm and a wavelength range outputting energy of or over 5% strength of the peak strength is equal to or less than 150 nm. An irradiation distance in the liquid is equal to or greater than 200 mm, and concentration of the photo nitrosating agent in the liquid is 0.1 mol % to 0.5 mol %.

A method for producing a crystallized polyester comprises the crystallization step of applying a shear and/or a pressure to a polyester selected from an aliphatic polyester and a polyalkylene terephthalate at a temperature of (Tm&#x2212;70&#xb0; C.) to (Tm+20&#xb0; C.), where Tm is a melting point of the polyester, thereby converting the polyester into a state having a crystallinity of 10% or more and fluidity.
