There is provided an image processing system including: an image processing device; a microphone that is capable of acquiring speech; a retaining unit configured to retain, in a history database, setting values for image processing utilized in the past; an acquiring unit configured to acquire, based at least on that a specific word has been recognized in a result of speech recognition on speech acquired by the microphone, one or more setting values from the history database using an extraction condition corresponding to the specific word, and a setting unit configured to set up a new job to be executed by the image processing device based on the one or more setting values.

There is provided a speech control system including: a microphone configured to acquire speech; a speaker configured to output speech; an image processing unit; and a controller configured to control settings of the image processing unit. The controller is configured to: specify one or more setting items represented by an input speech of a user acquired by the microphone that are to be set for the image processing unit, and depending on whether or not the specified one or more setting items satisfy a reading condition, cause the speaker to output a first response speech that reads the one or more setting items, or a second response speech that does not read at least one out of the one or more setting items.

A first member is configured to undergo sliding contact with a surface of a second member. The surface of the first member is roughened by irradiating the surface of the first member with a laser to form first recesses in the surface of the first member. The surface of the first member is then cleaned followed by a finely roughening step of irradiating the first recesses formed in the surface of the first member with a plasma to form second recesses which are shallower than the first recesses. Thereafter, a fluorocarbon resin is coated on the surface of the first member so that the fluorocarbon resin securely contacts and adheres to the surface of the first member due to the rough and clean state thereof. The surface of the first member is then subjected to a heat treatment.

A pressure adjuster valve has a body having a communication passage for connecting a first chamber in fluid communication with a second chamber and a truncated conical-shaped valve seat portion disposed at one end of the communication passage. A valve element is disposed within the communication passage for undergoing movement therein to engage the valve seat portion of the body. A biasing member normally biases the valve element in a direction away from the valve seat portion.
