A signal processor of a blood pressure estimating device includes a pulse wave transit time acquirer that acquires a pulse wave transit time based on a pulse wave signal detected by a photoplethysmographic sensor and an electrocardiographic signal, a time measurer that measures a time elapsed from when acquisition of the pulse wave transit time is started, and a blood pressure estimator that estimates a blood pressure based on a predetermined relationship between the pulse wave transit time and the blood pressure. The photoplethysmographic sensor is in contact with a neck of a user at a position not directly over a carotid artery when the pulse wave transit time is acquired, and the blood pressure estimator estimates the blood pressure after the measured elapsed time has become a predetermined time or more.

A pulse wave transit time measurement device includes a pulse wave transit time calculator that calculates a pulse wave transit time based on a peak time difference between an electrocardiographic signal and a pulse wave signal, a posture classifier that classifies time serial data of the pulse wave transit time based on a posture detected by an acceleration sensor, and a fluctuation identifier that sets a reference posture from among classified postures, corrects, in conformity with the reference posture, the time serial data of the pulse wave transit time classified into the posture different from the reference posture, and determines fluctuations in the pulse wave transit time based on the time serial data of the pulse wave transit time in the reference posture and the time serial data of the pulse wave transit time having being corrected.

A wireless communication apparatus is provided for preventing connection to an unintended wireless communication device. The apparatus includes a controller unit that performs scanning for the wireless communication device and connecting to the wireless communication device; and a memory unit that stores a first threshold for determining whether to connect to the wireless communication device. Moreover, the first threshold relates to an increasing amount per unit time of a received signal strength indicator of a signal from the wireless communication device. A measuring device is provided that suppresses wrinkle generation. The measuring device includes a body and a cover to be attached to the body. The body includes a grip and also includes a sensor portion. A fixation portion is formed at an upper surface of the grip. The sensor portion includes a measuring portion disposed at a distal end thereof and a connection portion that connects between the measuring portion and the grip. A sensor is disposed in the measuring portion. In the measuring device, an angle between (1) a reference plane comprising the measurement surface and (2) a tangent line drawn between the fixation portion and the body as viewed in a direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and that is parallel to the reference plane, is 50 degrees or less.

In a cover for covering a part of an oral instrument, a cover member is formed in a bag shape having an opening formed by partially bonding a measurement surface side sheet and an upper side sheet disposed to face each other. A protective sheet is bonded to the measurement surface side sheet of the cover member. The protective sheet protrudes from an opening edge of the cover member when viewed in a thickness direction of the cover member. Further, a bonded portion where the protective sheet and the cover member are bonded to each other is disposed along the opening edge of the cover member.

Cover for oral instrument

A grip-type pulse wave measuring device includes a main body that has a substantially spheroid shape, and a stopper that projects along an axial direction of the main body and abuts against a side surface of a thumb to restrict a position of the thumb when a user grips the main body portion. Moreover, a light shielding cover is provided that is formed into a substantially semi-cylindrical shape and is mounted so as to be swingable about, as a swing shaft, a shaft that is provided in parallel to the axial direction of the main body. A photoplethysmographic sensor is disposed at a position offset from the swing shaft of the light shielding cover along a peripheral direction of the main body and is configured to acquire a photoplethysmographic signal.

Grip-type pulse wave measuring device

A swallowing analyzing system (S) includes a swallowing sensor () and a swallowing analyzer (). A piezoelectric film sensor () of the swallowing sensor () includes a plurality of sensing portions (A) and (B) in a longitudinal direction of the neck region. The piezoelectric film sensor () is located within a range of movement of thyroid cartilage (), which occurs along with swallowing, and is attached to skin of an anterior neck region (). The piezoelectric film sensor () individually outputs analog signals (S) and (S) along with deformation of the plurality of sensing portions (A) and (B). A body () of the swallowing sensor () determines whether the swallowing occurs based on displacement signals that are low frequency components of the analog signals (S) and (S). The body () extracts data on the signals during the swallowing and wirelessly outputs the data to the swallowing analyzer ().

Swallowing analyzing system

A calculation processing unit of a sticking-type core body thermometer includes a correction value acquisition unit and a core body temperature acquisition unit. The correction value acquisition unit obtains a first correction value used to correct a first temperature, in accordance with a first differential value between a reference temperature set in advance according to a maximum limit body temperature and the first temperature on a sticking surface side of a first thermal resistor, and obtains a second correction value that is a correction value used to correct the first temperature, in accordance with a second differential value between the first temperature and a second temperature on a back surface side of the first thermal resistor. The core body temperature acquisition unit obtains a core body temperature by correcting the first temperature by using the first correction value and the second correction value.

Sticking-type core body thermometer

A cover for use with a measuring device body that includes a sensor portion having a distal end with a sensor having a measurement surface and a proximal end opposite the distal end, and a grip connected to the proximal end of the sensor portion. The cover includes a cover member configured to cover the measurement surface of the sensor, and a support member at least on a side of the sensor portion opposite to the measurement surface, and the support member is connected to the cover member.

A stick-on thermometer is provide that includes a first thermal resistor and a second thermal resistor that are arranged substantially parallel to an inner surface of a lower outer body. Moreover, first and second temperature sensors are arranged along a thickness direction of the first thermal resistor, third and fourth temperature sensors are arranged along a thickness direction of the second thermal resistor, and a wiring board is arranged substantially parallel to the first and second thermal resistors and on which there is mounted a processing circuit that processes detection signals of the first to fourth temperature sensors. The first and second thermal resistors are respectively formed of three first thermal resistor layers and three second thermal resistor layers formed substantially parallel to the inner surface of the lower outer body.

A biological signal detection apparatus includes a neck band worn by a user along a circumferential direction of a neck of the user and a pair of sensors mounted to both ends of the neck band to detect a biological signal. Each sensor includes a conductive cloth with a planar or substantially planar shape, a main body on which the conductive cloth is set, a frame body that holds a periphery of the conductive cloth between the main body and the frame body, and an input terminal provided on a surface of the main body that opposes the frame body.
