In a piston including a plurality of piston rings, a state where a difference in differential pressure between the piston rings is eased is maintained even after passage of time, and the life of the piston rings is extended. A piston includes a piston body in which a plurality of ring grooves is formed, and a plurality of piston rings respectively arranged in the ring grooves. In the piston, a leakage groove is formed on a low-pressure side surface of the ring groove, and in a state where the piston ring is abutted with the low-pressure side surface while being abutted with a cylinder, the leakage groove ensures communication between a high-pressure side space and a low-pressure side space with respect to the piston ring.

A rim for tire testing includes a rim body that is rotatably provided in a tire testing device so that a tire to be tested can be attached to the rim body, and a filling unit that can fill the tire to be attached to the rim body with a gas at a predetermined pressure. The rim body can be divided into a plurality of members in a direction along a rotational axis of the rim body. Of the rim body divided into the plurality of members, a rim base portion to be contact with a tire bead portion of the tire is integrated with the other divided members than the rim base portion by use of a coupling member.

A uniformity waveform for a tire (T) and a rotational phase of a load drum () are measured with a load drum () pressed against the tire (T). In a waveform of the frequency domain acquired by frequency conversion of the uniformity waveform, the amplitude and phase for a component of an integer multiple of the rotational frequency of the load drum () are found and stored as a correction parameter. A corrected tire (T) uniformity waveform is calculated by subtracting from the uniformity waveform a correction waveform calculated on the basis of the correction parameter, the correction waveform being the one in the rotational phase range of the load drum () during tire measurement.

A pneumatic circuit of a tire testing apparatus includes: a piping configured to guiding air from an air supply source to a tire; a control part configured to output a target command pressure; a pressure proportional control valve part; and a constant-flow air discharge part. The pressure proportional control valve part supplies and discharges the air of a flow rate proportional to a differential pressure between the target command pressure and an internal pressure of the tire so that the internal pressure of the tire becomes the target command pressure, and has a dead band in which the air is not supplied and discharged within a predetermined range. The constant-flow air discharge part is formed between the tire and the pressure proportional control valve part, and is configured to discharge the air of an inside of the piping to an outside at a constant flow rate.

A tire traveling test device has a belt that horizontally spans between two drums and a load support device that supports a flat surface of the belt from a lower surface side of the belt. The load support device is provided with a liquid supply means that supplies support liquid between the load support device and the belt and supports the belt from below. When calculating a thrust load acting on the rotor by multiplying the determined relative displacement by a conversion coefficient, an axial force measuring bolt is used as a tightening bolt for affixing the bearing on the one end side, said axial force measuring bolt enabling measurement of a load acting in the axial direction. The axial force measured by the axial force measuring bolt and the relative displacement during measurement of the axial force are used to calibrate the conversion coefficient.
