A wireless power transmission system includes a power-supplying device including an electronic oscillator that generates electric power having a frequency of 1 MHz or more and 5 MHz or less, and a power-supplying coil member in which the electric power flows; and a power-receiving device including a power-receiving coil member that is capable of generating electric power based on the magnetic field generating from the power-supplying coil member, wherein the power-receiving coil member is a sheet coil including an insulating layer and a first coil pattern disposed at one side of the insulating layer, the first coil pattern is composed of wires, and the wires are disposed in spaced apart relation from each other with a predetermined space provided therebetween in the radial direction of the first coil pattern.

A method of manufacturing an optical waveguide is provided which enables a recognition device such as a CCD camera to easily recognize an alignment mark for positioning a mold for over cladding layer formation. The method includes the steps of: forming protruding cores and a protruding alignment mark on an upper surface of an under cladding layer on a substrate by a photolithographic method; and forming the over cladding layer by use of the mold positioned using the alignment mark as a guide. For the formation of the alignment mark, a photomask is used which has an opening pattern for alignment mark formation including an opening, and a light transmission amount reduction region provided around the opening and having an aperture ratio within a range greater than 10% and less than 80%. The alignment mark is formed to have a peripheral side surface in the form of an inclined surface.

Method of manufacturing optical waveguide

An input device capable of lowering the vertical position of light beams traveling within the frame of a frame-shaped optical waveguide without using optical path conversion is provided. The input device includes a light-emitting module incorporating a light-emitting element connected to light-emitting cores of the optical waveguide, and a light-receiving module incorporating a light-receiving element connected to light-receiving cores of the optical waveguide. A section of the optical waveguide on a light-receiving side, in which the light-receiving cores are formed, is placed upside down so that an over cladding layer is positioned on the underside. Accordingly, the light-receiving module is also placed upside down. Thus, the light-receiving module protrudes along the height thereof in such a manner that the amount of downward protrusion is less than the amount of upward protrusion.

A plurality of wiring patterns are formed so as to extend in parallel with each other. A plurality of test terminals are formed in a substantially rectangular shape such that respective widths thereof increase toward respective one sides from respective ends of the plurality of wiring patterns. The plurality of test terminals in each group are arranged so as to be aligned along a length direction of the wiring patterns. The wiring patterns are formed so as to be longer in the order, and the test terminals are further away from a mounting region in the order. An interval (width of a plating resist) between the test terminals in each group and the wiring patterns in the other group adjacent thereto is set to decrease in the order.
