An electric vehicle includes a motor drive section that supplies electric power from a main battery to a motor to drive the motor. The motor drive section can include an inverter configured to convert direct current from the main battery into alternating current, and a capacitor configured to stabilize an operation of the inverter. A resistor is configured to discharge electric charge of the capacitor, and discharge operation unit can be configured to manually control the resistor to discharge the electric charge of the capacitor.

Electric vehicle with motor drive section

A lighting system includes a first lighting apparatus, an annular second lighting apparatus, and an annular stay. The first lighting apparatus includes a light source covered with a housing. The annular second lighting apparatus is disposed around the housing and includes a plurality of light-emitting elements disposed annularly so as to be radially spaced apart from an outer periphery of the first lighting apparatus. The annular stay is supported by the housing to support the second lighting apparatus.

Vehicle lighting system

A tail light structure having a light-emitting body and a reflector member for reflecting light from the light-emitting body for external illumination. The reflector member has a lower reflecting surface for receiving maximum external light and an upper reflecting surface and left and right reflecting surfaces, and the lower reflecting surface having a lower reflectance than the upper reflecting surface and the left and right reflecting surfaces.

Tail light structure

To provide a rear lamp unit for a vehicle which is provided with a desired cut pattern on an outer lens so that the light-emitting area can be increased. A rear lamp unit is provided with upper and lower outer lenses for guiding light emitted from light-emitting diodes to the outside the vehicle. The upper and lower inner lenses are provided between the light-emitting diodes and the upper and lower outer lenses, respectively, and the upper and lower inner lenses are disposed at locations apart from the upper and lower outer lenses, respectively.

Rear lamp unit for vehicle

A ground cable between an engine and a body frame has an advantage against vibrations and for increasing the universality in use and further improve the flexibility in coupling to a vehicle body. An engine case and a vehicle body frame are connected to each other by a cable to ground the engine. The cable has a diameter set substantially equal to one of the other cables that has the greatest wire diameter wiring lines, that is, a wiring line cable between a battery and the engine and wiring line cables and between the battery and a starter motor.

Ground structure for a vehicle

A license light for a two-wheeled vehicle capable of uniformly illuminating a display plane of a license plate. A lamp main body is supported in a light housing portion of a light cover mounted to a license plate mounting portion of a rear fender. The lamp main body is configured such that a lamp fixed to a base via a socket is covered with a lens. A prism is provided on an upper surface portion of the lens through which light emitted from the lamp is directed for illuminating a display plane of the license plate. The prism is formed by arraying a plurality of prism elements, each of which is directed in a direction parallel to the center line of a vehicular body, in a direction perpendicular to the center line direction. The light emitted from the lamp is uniformly diffused by the prism, so that the license light is uniformly illuminated with the light with a uniform brightness. Thus configured, the license light is a simple structure, having reduced size and weight and providing for freedom of arrangement on the vehicle.
