An objective of the present invention is to reduce the downtime which occurs when changing a servo motor device. A servo motor device includes a motor section and a reduction gear configured to output a driving force by reducing a speed of rotation of the motor section, wherein a control device includes a detecting section configured to acquire detected information about operation of the motor section, and a computing section configured to generate an approximate curve based on a behavior for a time sequence of a parameter and to calculate predicted lifetime information of the servo motor device based on the approximate curve thus generated, wherein the parameter has been calculated by means of the detected information.

In a robot servo mechanism, the servo mechanism is installed within a L-shaped housing box to make dimension thereof smaller with smaller dead space thereof. In the servo mechanism, each of first and second housing boxandof a robot servo unit has a small motor, a reduction unit and a potentiometer. Since, each of the two housing boxesandhas L-shaped configuration, each of corresponding connection spacesandsurrounded by one dotted chain line can be formed. First and second output shaftsandare installed with protrusion into the connection spacesand, respectively. A cross-shaped coupling bodyhaving a cross-type through hole formed therein is fitted around the output shaftalong a line indicated by an arrow and then fixed thereat by using a screw. Then, the second output shaftof the second housing boxis inserted into the cross-shaped coupling body previously fixed at the first housing box. As a result, the two housing boxesandare integrated as one body through the use of the cross-shaped coupling body, thereby constructing a joint servo of a robot.

Servo motor

A stick lever device including a mechanism for shifting a neutral position and capable of decreasing the number of parts of the device and facilitating the assembling. A pivotal shaft of a variable resistor mounted on a mounting member is securely mounted with a pivotal operation section including a stick lever. The mounting member is formed with two shaft holes and a support shaft of an arm member is selectively fitted in any one of the shaft holes. The pivotal operation section is provided thereon with three projections. The arm member which is urged by a spring is abutted against predetermined two of the projections depending on the position of the support shaft of the arm member, so that the neutral position of the pivotal operation section and stick lever may be shifted as desired.
