In a vehicle provided with an in-wheel motor disposed below a spring of a front wheel, an anti-dive angle of a front suspension is set to form an angle which is inclined towards an upper side of the vehicle with respect to a horizontal line drawn from a ground contact point of the front wheel to a rear side of the vehicle, and an arc-shaped trajectory of a wheel center resulting from displacement of the front suspension is set to be movable towards the upper side of the vehicle and towards the rear side of the vehicle.

Vehicle in-wheel motor suspension

A supercharger includes a centrifugal compressor having an impeller, a rotational shaft coupled to the impeller, a motor having a stator and a rotor housed in a casing, and a journal air bearing supporting the rotational shaft. The journal air bearing includes a hollow cylindrical member having an inner space therein and a heat transfer member fitted in the inner space. The heat transfer member is made of a material which is less rigid and has a greater coefficient of thermal conductivity than the hollow cylindrical member. The impeller radiates heat transferred through the heat transfer member into ambient air.

Supercharger

A device for holding electrical wires that supply power to an in-wheel motor. A clamp for restricting movement of the electrical wires only in a longitudinal direction is provided to a front area in which the electrical wires fixed at one ends to the motor are bent at about 90&#xb0;. A fixing member for fixing the rotation and longitudinal movement of the wires is provided in proximity to the power source.
