A hub can be displaced between an initial position at which the hub is located on a front end side of an inner cavity of a shield and an inner needle penetrates an outer needle and a retracted position at which the hub is located on a rear end side of the inner cavity of the shield and the inner needle is housed within the inner cavity of the shield. A stopper includes an insertion portion that is inserted into the inner cavity of the shield and a base portion that is located on a rear end of the insertion portion. The base portion includes a roof portion that exposes part of an outer circumferential face of a tube connected to the hub and covers the remainder thereof, and a pair of grasping portions that are arranged to sandwich the tube and can be elastically displaced so as to grip the tube.

Indwelling needle device

When a hub () is in an initial position at which it is located on the front end side of an inner cavity of a shield (), an inner needle () penetrates an outer needle () and protrudes from a leading end of the outer needle to the outside, and when the hub is in a retracted position at which it is located on the rear end side of the inner cavity of the shield, the inner needle is housed within the inner cavity of the shield. A first side hole () is formed in an outer circumferential face of the outer needle, and a second side hole () is formed in an outer circumferential face of the inner needle. When the hub is in the initial position, an inner circumferential face of a region () of the outer needle that contains the first side hole is in close contact with the outer circumferential face of the inner needle, and the second side hole is located closer to the hub than the region where the inner circumferential face of the outer needle is in close contact with the outer circumferential face of the inner needle. Thus, a priming operation for filling a gap between the inner needle and the outer needle with blood can be easily performed, and leakage of blood through the side hole of the outer needle during puncture does not occur.

An inner hub () with a needle attached to a tip thereof is housed in a cylindrical body (). The inner hub () includes a through-hole () penetrating the inner hub () in a radial direction of the inner hub (), and a recessed portion () formed in an outer circumferential surface () of the inner hub (). An opening of the through-hole () and the recessed portion () are connected together in a circumferential direction of the inner hub (). A liquid flowing out from the opening of the through-hole () is limited so that the liquid flows along the recessed portion (), and the flow of the liquid moving in the circumferential direction of the inner hub () is promoted. As a result, the removal of air bubbles in the circumferential direction of the inner hub () is promoted, whereby air bubbles can be prevented from remaining on the outer circumferential surface () of the inner hub ().

Needle device

An injection device includes: a syringeincluding a barrelincluding a cylindrical barrel bodyand a nozzleprovided at a front end of the barrel body so as to be communicated with the barrel body, a gasketslidable in the barrel, and a plungerconnected with the gasket and capable of being placed into and removed from the barrel through a rear end opening of the barrel; a finger flangeprovided in the vicinity of the rear end portion of the barrel body and molded integrally with or separately from the barrel body; and a holderhaving an inner diameter that allows the barrel to be inserted in a bore of the holder, attached to the barrel, and including a spiral protrusionformed on the inner surface of a portion of the holder disposed around the nozzle.
