Provided is a transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate that, during patterning by laser of a transparent conductive film formed on an underlying glass layer, can prevent the transparent conductive film or the underlying glass layer from being discolored or damaged, and a manufacturing method thereof. A transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrateincludes a glass substrate, an underlying glass layer provided on the glass substrate, and a transparent conductive filmprovided on the underlying glass layer and subjected to patterning by laser. The underlying glass layer has an absorptance of a wavelength of the laser lower than the transparent conductive filmand higher than the glass substrate. A patterned regionformed by removing part of the transparent conductive filmby the patterning by laser includes a first linear portion, a second linear portion, and a connecting portionconnecting between the first linear portionand the second linear portion. The first linear portionand the second linear portionform an angle of 120&#xb0; or less with each other. The connecting portionhas a radius of curvature of 0.5 mm or more.

Transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate and method for manufacturing same

Provided is a transparent conductive film-equipped substrate that makes it difficult for an insulating film provided on a portion from which a transparent conductive film has been removed to peel off. The transparent conductive film-equipped substrateincludes a substrateand a transparent conductive filmprovided on the substrateand subjected to patterning, wherein the transparent conductive film-equipped substrate is made up so that: a removal region Awhere the transparent conductive filmhas been removed by patterning, a non-removal region Awhere the transparent conductive film is left unremoved, and a boundary region Aprovided between the removal region Aand the non-removal region Aare formed on the substrate; and the boundary region Ais formed with insular portionsin which the transparent conductive filmis formed in insular shapes.
