A hydraulic camshaft adjuster for adjusting the control times of gas exchange valves of an engine is provided. A stator is rotatable synchronously with a crankshaft of the engine. A rotor is arranged so as to be rotatable relative to the stator, and is rotatable synchronously with a camshaft. A plurality of ribs are provided on the stator, dividing an annular chamber between the stator and the rotor into a plurality of pressure chambers. A rotor hub and a plurality of blades extend radially outward from the rotor hub, dividing the pressure chambers into two working chambers having different effective directions. An additional connectable pressure booster is provided at least in an effective direction of the hydraulic camshaft adjuster. The pressure booster can boost the rotor when active.

A camshaft adjuster for an internal combustion engine, having a stator, a rotor mounted rotatably in the interior of the stator, and a locking cover connected to the stator. A hydraulically actuatable locking element is received in the rotor and engages into the locking cover in at least one blocking position, so as to block a rotation of the rotor relative to the stator, and is arranged in at least one unlocking position so that the rotor can be rotated relative to the stator. A blocking pin acts in at least one hydraulic channel connected hydraulically to the locking element so that the hydraulic channel is connected to a recovery tank or is disconnected from the recovery tank depending on the position of the blocking pin, wherein the hydraulic channel has a first channel section in the locking cover, and the first channel section and the blocking pin are arranged so that the blocking pin seals the hydraulic channel from the recovery tank in at least one first end position, in a first pressure range which prevails in the hydraulic channel by way of contact with the locking cover.

A camshaft adjusting device including &#x2014;a vane cell adjuster and &#x2014;a central locking device () for locking the rotor () with respect to the stator (), wherein &#x2014;at least one first valve functional pin () is provided in the rotor hub (), and the working chambers () with different directions of action can be fluidically connected to one another via said valve functional pin, &#x2014;in a first switch position, the first valve functional pin () fluidically connects at least two first working chambers () with different directions of action to each other via a non-return valve () during a movement from the direction 'early' or 'late' into the central locking position, &#x2014;in a second switch position, the first valve function pin () fluidically separates the at least two first working chambers () with different directions of action, &#x2014;a bridging line () is provided for a fluid-free connection of the two first working chambers (), and &#x2014;the bridging line () can be switched by a valve pin ().

A camshaft adjusting device, including a vane cell adjuster having a stator connectable to a crankshaft and a rotor, which is rotatably supported in the stator and connectable to a camshaft. Webs on the stator, divide an annular space between the stator and the rotor into pressure chambers, wherein the rotor has a rotor hub and vanes extending radially outward from the rotor hub, which vanes divide the pressure chambers into two groups of working chambers having a different acting direction, into each of which working chambers pressure medium flowing in or out in a pressure-medium circuit can be admitted, and a central locking device for locking the rotor in relation to the stator. The central locking device has two spring-loaded locking pins in an accommodating space, and lockable in a locking slot secured to the stator and lock in the locking slot when the rotor rotates from the direction of an 'early' or 'late' stop position into the locking position from different directions, wherein the locking pin forms a valve device together with the particular accommodating space, wherein the locking pin is a step pin.

A hydraulic camshaft adjuster (), in particular a vane-type hydraulic camshaft adjuster, including a rotor () and a stator () which are mounted to rotate with respect to each other, a cover () fixed on the stator (), including a locking receiver and at least one locking pin () accommodated in the rotor (), the locking pin being slidable in the axial direction and prestressed in the direction of the locking receiver, and a hydraulic channel () to apply pressure of the locking pin () against the prestress of same, the hydraulic channel being able to be filled and emptied with a hydraulic medium via a central screw, wherein in the rotor () at least one additional discharge channel () fluidically connected to the hydraulic channel () is formed with a discharge valve (), wherein preferably the discharge valve () closes the discharge channel () when the locking pin () is pressurized and opens the discharge channel when the hydraulic pressure acting on the locking pin () falls.

A camshaft adjusting device including a vane cell adjuster with a stator which can be connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and with a rotor which is rotatably mounted in the stator and can be connected to a camshaft. The camshaft adjusting device also includes a central locking device for locking the rotor in a central locking position relative to the stator. In one or more of the vanes together: at least two pressure medium lines are provided, each of which fluidically connects two working chambers with different working directions to each other. Non-return valves with different working directions are provided in each pressure medium line, each non-return valve allowing a flow of the pressure medium between the working chambers in one direction and preventing the flow in the respective other direction depending on the rotational direction of the rotor relative to the stator. A first switchable valve device is provided in the respective other vanes which are not provided with non-return valves, the valve device allowing a flow of the pressure medium between the working chambers with different working directions in one switch position.

A camshaft phaser has a central-position locking device for locking the rotor in a central locking position relative to the stator. One or more of the vanes altogether have at least two pressure medium conduits each fluidically connect two working chambers of different directions of action. The pressure medium conduits have check valves of different directions of action which allow the pressure medium to be transferred in one direction and prevent it from being transferred in the respective opposite direction, depending on the direction of rotation of the rotor relative to the stator. A valve device is provided in the rotor hub, the at least one switchable valve device in one operating position allowing the working chambers between which transfer of pressure medium is prevented by the check valve or between which no check valve is provided to be fluidically connected to each other.
