A filter device includes a functional element and a filter element arranged in a filter housing. The filter element includes an enclosure positioned about a central axis and below filter material of the filter element. The enclosure includes an enclosure wall that defines an inner volume that is in fluid communication with an orifice of the functional element when the filter element is positioned over the functional element.

Filter device

An oil module may include a conveying device for conveying oil along a flow path, a heat exchanger for temperature-controlling the oil, and a main body having a front side and a back side. The front side may include (i) an inlet opening and (ii) an outlet opening. The back side may include (i) at least one pump opening fluidically connected with the inlet opening, (ii) a first cooler opening fluidically connected with the at least one pump opening, and (iii) a second cooler opening fluidically connected with the outlet opening. The conveying device may be arranged on the back side and fluidically connected with the at least one pump opening. The heat exchanger may be arranged on the back side and fluidically connected with the first cooler opening and the second cooler opening.

Oil module

A filter device may include a ring filter element arranged in a filter housing in an upright manner. The ring filter element may have an upper end disc, a lower end disc, a filter material arranged therebetween, and a dirt pot provided on the lower end disc. The dirt pot may be provided on the lower end disc, a protruding pin, and an opening on a base side of the dirt pot. The filter device may include a functional element having a channel configured to receive the protruding pin. A portion of the functional element may be configured to penetrate the opening of the dirt pot such that the ring filter element is sealed at the opening. The portion of the functional element may have at least one water discharge opening. The filter device may be operational when the pin engages into the channel.

A filter element includes an upper end disc, a lower end disc, a filter material arranged between the upper end disc and the lower end disc, a dirt pot on the lower end disc, a pin attached at an attachment location and configured to be received within a channel in an installation orientation, the pin extending away from the attachment location along an axis, the pin having a base of a first width at the attachment location, the pin having a free end and a groove defined between the attachment location and the free end, the pin having a second width that defines a circumference of the groove, the second width approximately orthogonal to the axis, wherein the first width is greater than the second width, and an opening in the dirt pot.

A filter device may include a ring filter element arranged in a filter housing in an upright manner. The ring filter element may have an upper end disc, a lower end disc, a filter material arranged therebetween, and a dirt pot provided on the lower end disc. The dirt pot may have a water separator arranged therein and provided on the lower end disc, a protruding pin, and an opening on a base side of the dirt pot. The filter device may include a functional element having a channel configured to receive the protruding pin. A portion of the functional element may be configured to penetrate the opening of the dirt pot such that the ring filter element is sealed at the opening. The portion of the functional element may have at least one water discharge opening. The filter device may be operational when the pin engages into the channel.

A filter device may include a ring filter element arranged in a filter housing in an upright manner. The ring filter element may have an upper end disc and a lower end disc. A dirt pot may have a water separator arranged therein and be provided on the lower end disc. The dirt pot may also have a protruding pin. A channel may be configured to receive the pin and be provided on at least one of a filter housing pot and a functional element. The filter device may be operational when the pin engages into the channel.

A ring filter insert () which can be flowed through radially has, in at least one of its end disks (), at least one connecting channel () which runs radially between interior and exterior of this end disk (). With such a ring filter insert (), through a liquid supply channel () which is conducted through the central inner space of the ring filter insert () which serves as the crude space or clean space, it is possible in construction and rational terms to pass liquid through the at least one connecting channel () in at least one of the two end disks () of the ring filter insert () from the radial inside outward into one of the two crude spaces or clean spaces which are sealed from the other crude space or clean space and communicate only through the filter medium of the ring filter insert (). The flow through the at least one connecting channel () in at least one of the two end disks () may also be in the reverse direction from the radial outside inward.

Ring filter insert for a liquid filter

An internal combustion engine, in a motor vehicle, has a fuel filter system in a fuel line leading to the internal combustion engine. The operation of this motor vehicle exclusively with fuel of filtered quality is ensured. To this end, a valve is provided inside the fuel line preventing the internal combustion engine from being started when the fuel is unfiltered.
