The invention relates to a cooling module including an axial fan for vehicles, in particular for electric vehicles, which is characterized in that a cooling module casing encloses the axial fan and a flow deflection region and a cooling airflow enters the cooling module through an intake plane and leaves the cooling module through an outflow plane, wherein the intake plane and the outflow plane are aligned at an angle alpha in relation to one another and the angle alpha as the inclination of the intake plane in relation to the outflow plane is formed greater than or equal to 55&#xb0; and the cooling module casing has a rear wall, wherein the rear wall is arranged at an angle beta of at most 90&#xb0; in relation to the outflow plane, so that a flow deflection region is formed in the cooling module casing between the intake plane and the outflow plane and the rear wall.

The air mixing element, which extends in the direction of the rotational axis, is embodied according to the invention with cross-flow openings, so that a cross-section of at least one flow passage of the air conditioning system can be adjusted based on the position of the air deflector device.

The invention concerns an air conditioning system for conditioning the air of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle including a housing with a first flow channel and a second flow channel for conducting air and a refrigerant circuit with an evaporator and a condenser. The air conditioning system is designed for cooling and heating the passenger compartment and for a reheat operation. The setting of the operating mode is done only via the controlling of air guidance mechanisms. One of the heat exchangers evaporator or condenser is arranged with a part of the heat transfer surface in both the first and the second flow channel.

The valve element is mounted so that it can turn about an axis of rotation and is configured with a through channel. The through channel of the valve element is configured with an entry opening and an exit opening and arranged so that the flow cross section of the through channel decreases from the entry opening to the exit opening in the direction of flow of the coolant. At the exit of the through channel the least flow cross section is formed.
