A steering column arrangement for a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger motor vehicle, is disclosed. The steering column arrangement has a console and a steering column that is mounted between respective console arms by intercession of an intermediate section, in particular a casing pipe box. The steering column is set releasably on the console by a clamping device where the clamping device includes at least one wedge pair that is held on the console by a support element. The wedge pair has respective clamping wedges where the clamping wedges adjoin each other directly and the wedge pair is supported on its side facing away from the intermediate section, in particular the casing pipe box, by the support element.

Steering column arrangement for a motor vehicle

A spindle drive for the height adjustment of an electrically adjustable steering column and the steering includes an adjustment spindle rotatably mounted in two bearings. The adjustment spindle includes two clamping elements, which have a centering cone on their sides facing one another, and the adjustment spindle is arranged in a tensioned manner on the two bearings by means of the clamping element, in that the clamping elements abut on the outer sides of the centering cones facing away from one other. The outer sides of the bearings are formed having a counter contour to the respectively abutting centering cone.

Spindle drive for the height adjustment of an electrically adjustable steering column

A steering column arrangement has a sliding sleeve and a universal joint yoke, which has a receiving section in which the sliding sleeve is included at least in sections and coaxially. The covering outer surface of the sliding sleeve and the covering inner surface of the receiving section have molded components for the positive connection. A torsion damper element is arranged between the sliding sleeve and the receiving section of the universal joint yoke. This is an annular arrangement, including an inner carrier ring, an outer carrier ring and an elastomer ring arranged between them. The inner carrier ring and outer carrier ring are elastic in a radial direction and rigid in an axial direction.

Steering column arrangement with torsion damper element, and assembly method

A motor vehicle steering column includes an inner jacket pipe that receives a steering spindle, which is received in a longitudinally adjustable manner in an outer jacket pipe held on a steering console and having a hollow cross-section. The steering column also includes a clamping device, by means of which the inner jacket pipe can be releasably secured in its adjusted longitudinal position relative to the outer jacket pipe. The outer jacket pipe has a recess at least over a longitudinal region, whereby its hollow cross-section can be altered by the clamping device.

Steering column for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a balancing shaft for an internal combustion engine and to a method for the production thereof. In this case, the balancing shaft consists of a tubular hollow body and contains a balancing weight and also functional elements arranged on the hollow body. In order to design a balancing shaft in as simple a manner as possible, which balancing shaft is designed to save construction space and in which the adequate balancing weight is arranged at the suitable location in accordance with the requirements, it is proposed that the balancing weight be arranged on the outer circumference of the hollow body and that it be fastened there.

A steering column assembly has a bracket situated fixed on a vehicle, and a rotatable steering column, which has a column jacket and a steering shaft mounted therein. The steering column has modifiable tilt and length and a clamping mechanism for fixing the steering column. The steering column is connected via a bracket slide to a bracket. The bracket slide is displaceably mounted on the bracket, and an energy absorbing element is situated to absorb energy during a displacement of the bracket slide in relation to the bracket.

A toothed or splined shaft having an external toothing is pushed with clearance into an internal toothing of a hub, tooth to space, and the external toothing of the shaft is pressed together with the internal toothing of the hub. In the push-in position of the shaft, the latter is deformed plastically out of a cavity of the shaft in a radial circumferential widening operation and, so as to provide freedom from clearance between the spaces of the external toothing of the shaft and the internal toothing of the hub, the internal toothing engaging into the external toothing is pressed against the hub in such a way that the hub is deformed elastically and a press fit between the shaft and the hub is produced.

Method for the production of a shaft-hub connection

A joining connection between a circumferentially closed hollow profile and an add-on part which is provided with a passage opening and consists of a material of lower strength than the material of the hollow profile is disclosed. Additionally, a method for producing the connection and to a steering column having this joining connection is disclosed. In order to connect a hollow profile and an add-on part having lower strength than the hollow profile non-releasably to each other in a simple, reproducible and reliable manner, and furthermore in order to reliably fit a holder as an add-on part to the casing tube of the steering column, where the holder has a lower strength than the casing tube, with a low outlay on components and costs and with exact, reproducible positioning of the two joining partners with respect to each other in the joining connection, a recess is provided which is spaced away from the end sides of the add-on part on the inside of the passage opening, to slide the add-on part with its passage opening onto the hollow profile and to jam it to the hollow profile in this sliding-fit position by a local expansion of the hollow profile. The expansion being formed by internal high-pressure deformation at the location of the recess.
