Embodiments include methods for a second node configured to serve a second cell in a wireless network. Such methods include receiving, from a first node, a mobility-related message including information associated with a plurality of first reference time information messages transmitted by the first node to a user equipment (UE). Such methods include, based on the received information, determining whether the second node can support reference time information delivery to the UE in the second cell. Such methods include, based on determining that the second node can support reference time information delivery to the UE, transmitting one or more second reference time information messages to the UE, each second reference time information message including an absolute reference time and a corresponding reference event within downlink transmissions by the second node. Other embodiments include complementary methods for the first node and network nodes configured to perform such methods.

Reference time delivery during mobility operations in a time-sensitive network (TSN)

According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving a first grant and a second grant from a network node. The first grant and the second grant are overlapping. The method comprises determining a prioritized one of the first grant and the second grant and constructing a Medium Access Control (MAC) Protocol Description Unit (PDU) for the prioritized grant of the first grant and the second grant. According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a network node comprises transmitting a first grant and a second grant to a wireless device. The first grant and the second grant are overlapping. The method comprises receiving a transmission from the wireless device on a prioritized one of the first grant and the second grant.

Multiple grant handling in mixed services scenarios

Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for pre-emption priority level for Uplink Control Information (UCI) and/or Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) conflict resolution. In one embodiment, a method implemented in a network node includes indicating to a wireless device (WD) a priority associated with at least one uplink (UL) channel; and receiving at least one UL signal based at least in part on the indicated priority. In another embodiment, a method implemented in a WD includes determining a priority associated with at least one of at least two uplink (UL) channels; and resolving a conflict between the at least two uplink channels based at least in part on the determined priority.

Pre-emption priority level for uplink control information (UCI) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) conflict resolution

A communication device receives an uplink grant from a node of a cellular network. The uplink grant indicates uplink radio resources allocated to the communication device in reoccurring time intervals. For each of these time intervals, the communication device selects between an active mode and an inactive mode. In the active mode the communication device performs an uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources. In the inactive mode the communication device performs no uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources.

Conditional uplink radio resource utilization in a cellular network

In one embodiment, a method in a wireless device for adaptive HARQ retransmissions comprises receiving, from a network node, a request to initiate an adaptive hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) retransmission. The method comprises identifying a HARQ process associated with the HARQ retransmission request and determining whether a HARQ buffer of the HARQ process is empty. In response to determining that the HARQ buffer is empty, the method comprises not delivering the HARQ information to the HARQ process and not triggering an adaptive HARQ retransmission.

Embodiments herein disclose e.g. a method performed by user equipment, UE, () for handling uplink, UL, communications in a wireless communication network. The UE () receives from a radio network node (), an indication with an uplink grant, wherein the indication indicates that a radio resource scheduled by the UL grant for UL transmission is for a type of data. A user equipment starts a first timer and a second timer in response to different respective network events. A Virtual Endpoint and a method therein for enabling end-to-end connectivity between a wireless communication network and a wired communication network are disclosed. A Virtual Endpoint is implemented in the wireless communication network and certain user and control plane features used in the wired communication network are implemented in the VEP. The VEP maps data traffic between a device in the wireless communication network and a device in the wired communication network based on Quality-of-Service (QoS) and performs required actions defined by the features used in the wired communication network.

A hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process for cells configurable for multiple uplink grants is provided. A new rule to define the HARQ process identifiers (IDs) for configured grant is introduced, in cases when multiple configured grant configurations are used. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for a HARQ process in a cell configurable for multiple configured uplink grants is provided. The method comprises receiving an uplink grant comprising a HARQ process ID; determining that a HARQ process associated with the HARQ process ID is configured for a configured uplink grant based on a HARQ process ID offset; and starting or restarting a configured grant timer for the HARQ process. Selectively starting the configured grant timer depending on whether an identified HARQ process belongs to one of the multiple configured grant configurations, enables the gNB flexibility to schedule retransmissions or not.

HARQ process for cells configured for multiple configured uplink grants

A method performed by a terminal in a wireless network for determining whether to cancel a scheduling request is provided. The method includes determining that a scheduling request is triggered for requesting an uplink resource for transmission of data to a network node. The method further includes, responsive to an uplink grant from the network node, transmitting the scheduling request to the network node without a cancellation of the scheduling request occurring due to a buffer status report indicator included in a protocol data unit of the terminal.

Methods for scheduling request cancelation when colliding with uplink-shared channel and related apparatuses

A method is performed by a wireless device for transmitting PDCP packets over a multi-hop path to a receiver, in accordance with particular embodiments. The method begins with receiving PDCP signalling indicating that at least one transmitted PDCP packet has not been received. For example, the PDCP signalling may comprise a PDCP status PDU, or may comprise PDCP data recovery or PDCP re-establishment RRC signalling. In response to receiving the PDCP signalling indicating that at least one transmitted PDCP packet has not been received, the wireless device retransmits the at least one transmitted PDCP packet that has not been received, even if said transmitted PDCP packet has been acknowledged by a lower protocol layer. A method is also performed by a network node in accordance with particular embodiments.

Preventing / mitigating packet loss in IAB systems

A technique for controlling and monitoring packet duplication of at least one packet in a radio transmission from at least one transmitting station () to a receiving station () is described. As to a method aspect of the technique, a control message () that is indicative of the packet duplication in the radio transmission is transmitted to the receiving station (). The control message () controls the receiving station () to monitor a reception of duplicates () of the at least one packet.
