The invention relates to a closure cap for a container filled with a medical liquid. The closure cap has at least one connection with a scaling element which can be pierced by a spike or a needle to remove the medical fluid. A flap is arranged on an inner side of the closure cap and is connected to the main body by means of a hinge. The sealing element is fixed to the closure cap by the flap folded against the main body.

The invention relates to a packaging in the form of an infusion bag, having a connector for a vial, said connector having a spike for piercing the septum of the vial to establish a fluid connection to the inner volume of the infusion bag. The spike is designed to be rotatable. When the vial is rotated, the spike is rotated and the fluid connection between the vial and the inner volume of the infusion bag is opened.

A medical container and pharmaceutical product include a chamber containing a medical fluid and a connector secured to the chamber. The connector includes a connector element extending between a first end and a second end, and an inner lumen is defined between the first end and the second end. The connector element includes a fastening section, a pinch-off section extending from the fastening section, a head section extending from the pinch-off section, and a deflection element. The head section includes a locking rim and another rim that extends radially beyond the locking rim. The deflection element is directly connected to and extends from the another rim. The deflection element terminates at an end that extends into a portion of the inner lumen defined by the pinch-off section to protect the pinch-off section without hindering pinching of the pinch-off section.

The medical package has at least one weld seam and at least one inner layer of a matrix-phase polymer system, an intermediate layer of a matrix-phase polymer system, and an outer layer of a matrix-phase polymer system.

A connector for a medical container is described. The connector includes a connector element defining an inner lumen extending axially from a first end of the connector element to a second end of the connector element that is opposite the first end. The connector element includes a fastening section at the first end of the connector element that is secured to the medical container, a pinch-off section extending from the fastening section towards the second end of the connector element, a head section extending from the pinch-off section towards the second end of the connector element, and a deflection element extending from the head section towards the first end of the connector element.

A sealing cap for a container for holding a medical liquid comprises a cap body and a connection device having a sealing element arranged on the cap body. The sealing element is arranged at the opening and is retained in the cap body in a clamped manner by a, preferably annular, flanged rim. The invention relates to a medical package designed as an infusion bag, which medical package is made from multi-layer films that are welded to one another and is filled with a medical liquid for infusion and/or for parenteral nutrition. The invention is described by a medical package designed as an infusion bag, which is made up of a film comprising multiple layers welded to one another and has at least one weld seam, preferably longitudinal and transverse weld seams, and is filled with a medical liquid. The multi-layer film has at least one inner layer of a matrix-phase polymer system, an intermediate layer of a matrix-phase polymer system, and an outer layer of a matrix-phase polymer system. The matrix polymer of the matrix-phase polymer system of the inner layer, the intermediate layer and the outer layer in each case comprises a polypropylene polymer (PP) having defined parts by weight in the individual layers, and the phase polymer of the matrix-phase polymer system of the inner layer, the intermediate layer and the outer layer in each case comprises a styrene-ethylene/butyl-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) having defined parts by weight in the individual layers. The film is characterised in that the styrene-ethylene/butyl-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) of the intermediate layer has a styrene-ethylene/butylene ratio (S/EB) and the styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) of the outer layer has a styrene-ethylene/butylene ratio (S/EB), in which S/EB>S/EB. It has been shown that in this way the mechanical properties of the multi-layer film can be improved, in particular in the event of expansion of the multi-layer film in the region of the weld seams. The improved mechanical properties appear both at room temperature and also at lower temperatures of down to 4° C.

A sealing element is received between a connector and an attachment member. The sealing element includes a foot section received by a recess of the connector, a shoulder engaging an inner surface of the attachment member, and a flange engaging a support surface of the connector. The sealing element also includes a cylindrical body extending from the shoulder to the flange along an insertion direction and, where the cylindrical body deforms to create a flow path through the sealing element, and a sealing head defines an opening that transitions from a closed state to an open state when the cylindrical body deforms.

A method for producing a sterilized container comprises: providing a preform having a hanger arranged on a bottom of the preform, heating the preform in a heating device, feeding the heated preform into a stretching and blowing apparatus, stretching and blowing the preform in the stretching and blowing apparatus such that the container for the infusion solution is formed from the preform, cleaning the formed container in a rinsing apparatus, and drying the cleaned container in a drying device, filling the cleaned and dried container at least with an infusion solution, via a filling opening present in the container, in a filling plant, closing the container by attaching a closure cap to the filling opening of the container, sterilizing the closed container in an autoclave, wherein the hanger of the preform is oriented and folded over by a bending apparatus prior to stretching and blowing in the stretching and blowing apparatus.

Method and apparatus for producing a filled SBM bottle

A connection assembly configured to deliver a medical liquid to a container is described. The connection assembly includes a connecting member connected to the container, an attachment member, and a sealing element. The attachment member defines a lumen, a first end to be connected to a delivery device, and a second end connected to the connecting member. The sealing element is disposed in the lumen of the attachment member and includes a sealing head, a flange, and a foot portion. The sealing head seals the lumen of the attachment member, and the flange and the foot portion engage the connecting member.
