A hydrodynamic torque converter is provided with a converter housing and a converter torus with a pump impeller, a turbine wheel which is driven hydrodynamically by the pump impeller by a converter fluid. In order to bridge the hydrodynamic drive, a converter lock-up clutch which is connected between the pump impeller and the turbine wheel by pressure loading of the converter fluid is arranged radially between an outer circumference of the converter housing and the converter torus. In order to provide the converter lock-up clutch with an increased transmission capacity, the turbine wheel is assigned at least one friction disc which can be prestressed axially between a pressure-loaded annular piston, which is hooked in an axially movable manner into the converter housing, and a mating friction surface of a converter housing section radially outside the converter torus.

Hydrodynamic torque converter having converter lock-up clutch

A torque transmitting device that can be rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation includes a series damper having a first damper unit, a second damper unit and a coupling unit. The first damper unit has a damper output side and the second damper unit has a damper input side. The coupling unit is arranged between the damper output side of the first damper unit and the damper input side of the second damper unit. The coupling unit has a first coupling part and a second coupling part, wherein the first coupling part and the second coupling part are arranged axially offset in relation to one another. The first coupling part connects the damper output side of the first damper unit to the second coupling part. The second coupling part connects the first coupling part to the damper input side of the second damper unit.

A wet friction clutch comprising at least one clutch component which is rotatable around a shaft, wherein in the interior of the clutch component a rotary valve component that is rotatable around the shaft is formed which is deflectable by an angle of deflection in comparison to the rotatable clutch component by a relative rotation around the shaft, wherein the rotatable clutch component has at least one first opening and the rotary valve component has at least one second opening, wherein a total opening is released by an at least partial overlapping of the first opening and the second opening, the size of the total opening being dependent on the angle of deflection.
