The present disclosure relates to a system for control of front and/or rear suspensions of a bicycle. The system comprises at least one sensor and one control unit. The at least one sensor is connected to the control unit and the control unit is configured to receive information from the sensor, determine a ride state of the bicycle from the information and send a suspension setting signal to the front and/or the rear suspension corresponding to the ride state. The control unit is further configured to establish an event, the event comprising information about said ride state of the bicycle and a suspension setting signal to the front and/or the rear suspension corresponding to the ride state and defining a minimum duration in time for the event.

Suspension system

The present disclosure relates to a shock absorber () including a cylinder (), a piston rod () and a piston () attached to the piston rod (). The piston () is arranged in the cylinder () and a damping chamber including a damping media is defined in the cylinder (). The shock absorber () further includes a gas spring in functional connection with the damping chamber and at least one characteristic of the gas spring is adjustable by a user-adjustable feature arranged within the piston rod, wherein the user adjustable feature affects the enclosing area of the damping chamber, thereby indirectly affecting the gas spring through the functional connection.

Spring rate adjuster

A shock absorber including a damper and a valve assembly for throttling fluid flow between a compression damper chamber and a pneumatic spring, with a valve assembly extending from an inner end portion of the damper into the compression damper chamber along a longitudinal central axis of the damper. A piston assembly is provided that includes an inner space which is open to the compression damper chamber and configured to receive and sealingly engage a distal portion of the valve assembly at an inner operational range of stroke and to disengage the valve assembly upon movement outside the inner operational range of stroke. The sealing engagement between the distal portion of the valve assembly and the inner space divides the compression damper chamber into an inner volume within the inner space and an outer volume in front of the piston assembly.

Position-dependent shock absorber

The present invention relates to a flow adjusting device () for a shock absorber for a vehicle, the shock absorber comprising a cylinder () and a piston () dividing the cylinder into at least a first and a second working chamber (). The flow adjusting device is adapted to control at least a first damping medium flow (F) and a second damping medium flow (F) adapted to flow from at least one of the working chambers and comprises at least a first valve (), adapted to control the first flow, and a second valve (), adapted to control the second flow. The first valve and said second valve are jointly adjusted. The present invention further relates to a shock absorber comprising such a device and a front fork comprising such a shock absorber.

Flow adjusting device

The present invention relates to a removable insert system (R) for a telescopic fork leg () of a bicycle, said telescopic fork leg () comprising outer and inner legs (), wherein said removable insert system comprises a piston and piston rod arrangement () comprising a piston rod () arranged at least partly within a first tube (), said removable insert system (R)being removably arranged within at least one of said inner legs () such that, when being mounted in said inner leg, the removable insert system is adapted to form a damping system (D) with said inner leg, and wherein said inner leg and said first tube are both acted upon by a flow of medium created by compression and expansion movements of the fork legs, said damping system further comprising medium flow passages (C, C) that are parallel in relation to each other, and that run between the upper and lower sides of said piston ()The invention also relates to a damping cartridge kit (DC) for upgrading a telescopic fork leg of a bicycle, said cartridge kit comprising a removable insert system (R).

Removable insert system

A device adjusts the rotational damping of a steering device such that the rotational damping varies depending on whether the rotational motion about a steering axis is caused by a force acting on the steering device of the vehicle or a force acting on the part(s) of the vehicle contacting the ground. The flow of hydraulic fluid in the steering damper partly or wholly is adjusted by a main valve unit that is coupled together with both an attaching part and a steering device. The opening area of the main valve unit is determined by a relative motion between the attaching part and the steering device such that the flow of the hydraulic fluid in a direction from and to the respective damping chambers of the steering damper is controlled depending on the cause of the rotational movement.

Rear shock absorber for a bicycle

A steering damper varies damping based upon the input source: the steering device or the ground contact parts. The device comprises a housing fixed on an attaching part that couples the steering device and the ground contact parts. A main chamber is partitioned into a first and second damping chamber and flow is at least partially controlled by a main valve unit. The opening area of the main valve unit is determined by a relative motion between the attaching part and the steering device.

A device for telescopic fork legs, preferably for a motorcycle or bicycle. The device is a compact removable unit that comprises parallel medium flow passages that run between upper and lower sides of the piston. This unit that is simple to adapt to different front fork dimensions and to use as a kit for providing an existing front fork with parallel damping. Parallel damping achieves simple adaptation of the damping characteristics to different types of terrain.

A shock absorber is made with a bleed function and preferably a non-return valve function associated with the bleed function. The shock absorber has a cylinder ( ) and, working in the latter in working medium and arranged on a piston rod ( ), a piston arrangement. The latter comprises at least two first and second pistons ( ) arranged at a distance from one another on the piston rod. At least one piston ( ) can, in connection with an end position, be introduced into a first space so as, depending on its position in or at the space, to bring about a modified or varied damping force relative to when the piston is located outside the space. The piston rod ( ) is provided with an inner second space ( ) which is arranged so as to contain said bleed and/or non-return valve function. Additionally or alternatively, the piston ( ) working outside the first space is provided with a member performing a bleed function and with any associated non-return valve function.
