The method also includes, upon detecting at least one busy event, transmitting a response message () associated with the paging message () to the communications network (--), the response message () being indicative of the wireless communication device () being temporarily busy.

Disclosed is a method is disclosed, performed by a wireless device, for resource reservation of a contention-based sidelink transmission. The method comprises obtaining information defining a transmission resource pool and a resource reservation pool comprising one or more resource reservation blocks associated with respective transmission resources in the transmission resource pool. The one or more resource reservation blocks comprise a plurality of occasions. The method comprises transmitting a resource reservation signal using a first occasion of a resource reservation block associated with a transmission resource selected by the wireless device for sidelink transmission. The method comprises monitoring one or more other occasions of the resource reservation block for resource reservation signals transmitted by other wireless devices aiming at reserving the same transmission resource. The one or more other occasions are different from the first occasion. The method comprises controlling, based on the monitoring, the sidelink transmission using the transmission resource.

Methods for resource reservation of a contention-based sidelink transmission and related wireless devices

Disclosed is a method performed by a wireless transmitter device, for contention-based sidelink transmission. The method comprises obtaining information defining a transmission resource pool and a resource reservation pool comprising one or more reservation resources associated with respective transmission resources in the transmission resource pool. The method comprises monitoring a reservation resource associated with a transmission resource selected by the wireless transmitter device for sidelink transmission, for a resource reservation signal transmitted by one or more other wireless transmitter devices attempting to reserve the same transmission resource. The method comprises: upon determining based on the monitoring that the transmission resource is available, transmitting, after the monitoring, to a wireless device, using the reservation resource, a resource reservation signal indicating that the wireless transmitter device intends to use the transmission resource. In some embodiments, a network node (e.g., a base station) collects information pertaining to components that form a Maximum Received Timing Difference (MRTD). For instance, the network node determines TAE. The network node then evaluates, for a particular UE, whether a certain MRTD requirement (MRTDR) for a specific coordinated service (CS) can be fulfilled. If the requirement can be met, then the network node may initiate the specific CS for the UE (or continue providing the CS), and if the requirement cannot be met, then the network node may stop or modify the CS for the UE.
