The sand moulding machine () includes a moulding chamber () formed by a chamber top wall (), a chamber bottom wall (), two opposed chamber side walls and two opposed chamber end walls (). A chamber wall is provided with a sand filling opening () communicating with a sand feed system (). At least one of the chamber end walls is provided with a pattern plate () having a pattern (). At least one of the chamber end walls is displaceable in order to compact sand fed into the moulding chamber. A number of compressed air inlet openings () are located in a lower part of the moulding chamber and are arranged to form an upward airflow in at least a part of the moulding chamber in order to create an at least substantially fluidised bed of sand during a sand filling operation.

The present invention relates to an automatic torsion spring based injection device having a dial-up/dial-down mechanism by which a dose can be set by rotating a dose setting member in a first direction and which dose size can be reduced by rotating the same dose setting member in a second and opposite direction. The dial-up/dial-down mechanism operates a torsion spring which is strained when setting a dose and unstained when rotating the dose setting element in the second direction. In order to secure the torsion spring when strained, a ratchet arm () following the rotation of the dose setting element in the first direction, engages a toothed element () such that engagement of the at least one ratchet arm () with teeth () of the toothed element () prevents unwinding of the torsion spring, and wherein the rotation of the dose setting member in the first direction moves the ratchet arm () from one tooth () to the subsequent tooth () of the toothed element (), and rotation of the dose setting member in the second direction lowering the set dose activates the ratchet arm () to disengage the teeth () of the toothed element () and thereby allow the torsion spring to move the ratchet arm () in the second direction to the previous tooth () such that the force accumulated in the torsion spring reduces incrementally. In order to provide a smooth movement when dialing down the set dose, the at least one ratchet arm () is provided o a ratchet tube () which carries friction teeth () which engage with a cam curve () of the toothed element, dampening the movement of the ratchet arm () by the torsion spring.

A push button connection for an injection device comprising a push button () and a driving part (). The two parts of the push button connection are mounted to each other and is relatively rotatable to each other. In order to minimize the friction occurring between the push button and the driving part when relatively rotated forces are transmitted via a pivot bearing (). In order also to minimize the effect of forces appearing dislocated from the center line a number of radial bearings () having a little friction diameter is provided.

A skin retention devicefor a medical jet-injection unithaving a contact face provided with adhesivein the area surrounding and close to the injection opening(s)of the nozzlewhich ensures good contact between the nozzleand the skinof a subject in the area chosen for an injection. The injection force can be lowered dramatically. In case of two-stage jet-injections, the initial injection force can be lowered because the skin retention close to the injection point significantly reduces the energy consuming elastic expansion of the skinin the injection area, and the second injection force can be lowered because of the high degree of fixed positioning of the injection opening of the nozzlerelative to the injection channel in the skinmade during the initial injection stage.

A pressurized injection device comprises a mechanical loading mechanism comprising a double set of rackets () and ball bearings/pins running in a curved track () which enables a resilient element () to be pre-stressed by&#x2014;twisting the two outer house parts of the device relative to each other back and forth. When twisted in one direction one set of rackets () engages the teeth of the piston rod () connected to the resilient element and when twisted in the opposite direction, the other set of rackets () engages same piston rod. The resilient element is set off to engage a plunger of a container holding a drug to be injected by pressing the release button (), which can be secured by a safety switch.

Mechanism for injection device

The present invention relates to a moulding machine () for producing flaskless moulds. The moulding machine () comprises a drag flask () and a cope flask (), a drag squeeze plate () associated with said drag flask (), and a cope squeeze plate () inserted in said cope flask (), all arranged to be rotated between a horizontal and a vertical position and the drag flask () and cope flask () being arranged to be movable relative towards one another and away from one another. The drag flask (), the cope flask (), the drag squeeze plate (), and the cope squeeze plate () are guided in their relative movement by a common set of guide rods (), whereby the alignment procedure for these components is significantly facilitated.
