The invention relates to an actuator with an anti-backbend chain, a drive motor, and a worm which can be driven by the drive motor and which comprises a helical groove. The anti-backbend chain has engagement means and is guided along the worm, and the chain is in engagement with the worm by means of the engagement means and the helical groove to drive the anti-backbend chain. Such an actuator should have a more compact design and should optionally exhibit less wear. For this purpose, the core diameter of the worm is larger than twice the distance from the motor axis to the motor exterior along which the anti-backbend chain is guided, and the anti-backbend chain is guided at least partly along the drive motor by means of the engagement means.

A conveyor chain, in particular a can conveyor chain, comprises chain links, which are interconnected by a respective chain hinge, and laterally projecting transport bars, which have a damping head made of a plastic material and provided for contact with the articles to be conveyed, the damping head comprising a fastening portion, a spring section arranged on said fastening portion and a contact portion connected to the spring section and adapted to contact the articles to be conveyed. A conveyor chain is provided of this type with a simpler and less failure-prone structural design. To this end, the damping head is provided with a front-side cavity of such a nature that the spring section has an elastically deformable wall portion whose wall thickness narrows, at least sectionwise, towards the contact portion, at least said spring section being made of an elastomer having a maximum shore hardness of A90.

A conveying system comprising a drive chain and at least one conveying carrier, the conveying system being flexible for the most different goods to be conveyed. The conveying carrier can be brought into detachable engagement with the drive chain, the drive chain comprising chain links arranged in a row and interconnected via a chain joint, a chain joint being formed by a sleeve pertaining to a first chain link and by a bolt passed through the sleeve and pertaining to a second chain link, at least part of the bolts projecting laterally at both sides and a transporting sleeve being arranged on each of the projecting end portions, and the conveying carrier comprising an engaging means which can be brought into detachable engagement at least with both transporting sleeves of a bolt. The invention further relates to a drive chain for such a conveying system.

An apron-conveyor chain is to be improved, which comprises chain links interconnected at hinge points and transport plates arranged on at least one side of said chain links and provided with a flat transport surface. The hinge points are provided with at least one sleeve and one bolt, and said transport plates form an apron conveyor in common and are each firmly connected to a bolt included in a hinge point. The apron-conveyor chain is in particular characterized by the feature that each transport plate is firmly connected to two neighbouring bolts of two neighbouring hinge points.
