An object is to provide a writing implement allowing the width of a drawn line to be freely changed by writing pressure that is capable of application to a narrow-shafted felt-tip pen or marker pen. The writing implement includes a shall tube, an ink supply core that is housed inside the shaft tube and that guides ink by capillary action, and a core surrounding member that is fitted to a leading end of the shaft tube, that is penetrated by the ink supply core, and from which a tip of the ink supply core projects. The ink supply core is configured to retract at a tip of the core surrounding member under writing pressure, and a projection dimension of the ink supply core from the tip of the core surrounding member is from 0.05 mm to 0.7 mm.

Writing implement

Provided are an erasing member which is excellent in erasability for handwritings written by means of a pencil, a mechanical pencil and the like and which does not produce eraser dusts, and an erasing tool in which a part to be erased can be visually recognized in erasing.The erasing member comprises a blend composition containing a liquid-absorbing porous material, and a basic magnesium carbonate porous material and the like can be used as the liquid-absorbing porous material. And in an erasing tool in which an erasing part is formed at one end and in which a transparent or translucent visible part making it possible to visually recognize a writing surface is provided in the vicinity of the erasing part, the erasing member described above is mounted to the erasing part, whereby the erasing tool which does not produce eraser dusts is obtained.

A ballpoint pen is provided in which the width of the drawing line can be changed, wherein responsiveness can be improved when distinguishing between drawing thin lines and thick lines. Ballpoint pen

A writing implement is provided which is designed to draw lines using capillary action, wherein the width of the line can be freely adjusted while the line is being drawn and it is possible to draw lines of almost the same width at the beginning of the use of the writing implement as at the end of use. A felt-tip penis provided with an ink reservoir, a collector, and a corefor drawing by capillary action the ink that has been dispensed by the collector, dispensing the drawn ink from the tip, and adhering same to a paper surface. Even in repetitive writing, the rate of variability in the width of the lines drawn at the end of use with respect to the width of lines drawn at the beginning of use is 10% or less.

Lines can be freely varied in thickness, and lines with characteristics such as 'stops', 'flicks', and &#x201c;sweeping strokes&#x201d; can be written easily, even with a felt-tip pen, marker pen, or the like. Moreover, a pen-tip does not readily become damaged or worn. A writing implement includes a shaft, an ink supply core such as that of a felt-tip pen or a marker pen, and a core surrounding member that covers the ink supply core. The writing implement is formed capable of contacting a tip of the ink supply core and a tip of the core surrounding member against a writing surface at the same time by using a joint capable of changing a relative positional relationship between the ink supply core and the core surrounding member.

A writing implement in which a joint connecting an ink supply section and a ballpoint pen tip together is configured from three members. The three members configuring the joint are a substantially cylindrical center member, a substantially cylindrical surrounding member formed at the outer periphery of the center member, and an interposing member that is molded by a soft member molded so as to cover the outer periphery of the center member and the surrounding member. An annular gap section is provided between the center member and the surrounding member. The leading end of the ink supply section is fitted into the gap section. The joint is formed by two color molding. The center member and the surrounding member are molded by primary molding, and the interposing member is integrally molded onto the center member and the surrounding member by secondary molding.

Provided is a writing instrument suited to ballpoint pens, marking pens and the like in which a flow pressure of an ink applied to a pen tip is controlled to a fixed level to prevent an ink direct flow phenomenon reverse flow phenomenon. The above writing instrument comprises a pen tip disposed at a front part of an ink tank, an ink received in the ink tank, a follower filled at a rear part of the ink, and a capillary porous member provided with a capillary force, which is arranged at a space part between a rear part of the follower and a rear end part of the ink tank in a state in which the follower is filled, wherein the pen tip is sealed when a cap is put on the writing instrument.

An applicator cap is closed on the front side and opening on the rear side, covering an applying part provided in the front end of a barrel cylinder of an applicator, from the rear-side opening, and detachably fitted on the barrel cylinder so as to be able to seal and keep the surrounding space of the applying part airtight, and includes a holding portion formed such that the middle part of the cap with respect to the axial direction is smaller in outside diameter than the front end with respect to the axial direction.
